  • After the bit at 0:55 Ozzy's face 'what's this' HAHAHA!!!

  • At 0:50 Ozzy mind was literally BLOWN! Lol his face expression was hilarious!! We were literally listening to history.

  • you just blew my fucking mind!

  • " ahh neva her ut" translates to "Iv'e never heard it" (for those who dont speak Ozzy)

  • @Domenaterguitar Now if only we could translate Syd-speak.

  • Oh ya ...Rock on

  • Everytime I see Ozzy it seems to me that he is having the time of his life. Seriously, it looks like this guy is tripping no-stop since 1969

  • he liked hearing it up to the point when Randy did his cheesy off to the races bit, then Ozzy was like, "what's this bullshit?"

  • It just seemed to me Ozzy, half way through, had no Idea why he was there. lol

  • @PsychoD69 ha, thats classic! i was startin ta think keyboard cat was gonna show up!

  • Hearing/watching this it's like Discovering a miracle.

  • It looked like ozzy wanted to cry and him wanting to cry almost made me want to cry

  • That was a beautiful moment I mean listening to an awesome solo from a dead best friend that you were in a band with is amazing! R.i.P Randy

  • That face worths to be seen on High quality.

  • OZZY !!!!

  • you can just see how he's flashing back

  • Thats a mighty fine ''Ox'' amp behind him XD

  • So much better than any other player to stand by Ozzy

  • WHATS THISS

  • Ozzy should release that as a tribute

  • @TheRockRiff He did. It's on the new re-mastered Blizzard of Ozz.

  • Dear old ozzy. Completely nuts.

  • He still melts faces beyond the grave! \m/

  • you could erase the title and people would still know it was Randy ... he was SO unique ;)

  • @beefcake0354 Very distinct sound... absolutely!

  • "I've never heard that..." Funny thing is, he'd probably still say that if it had been him playing!

  • hahaha funny his reaction at 1:05

  • I love Ozzy's face at 0:50

  • hahahahaahahah

  • so good

  • OO WOW...

  • SHAROOOOOOON!!!

  • That was awesome to hear...

  • nice pulpils ozzy, have another dose

  • I wonder if he shed tears over this, I would have.

  • Randy dialed in such an amazing sound...what an ear he had. Very touching.

  • I WANT THE RICK!

  • Sorry Buddy Holly.....

  • Makes me wanna cry...to me, Randy's is the saddest of all the rock n roll deaths ever...

  • @Mattietee3777 The most random death, as well as the saddest...

  • @Mattietee3777 I would put Lennon's death, the way he died and his loss to the musical world as much greater. Even though both are sad and undeserving.

  • You could play that solo for him today and get the same reaction.

  • Comment removed

  • how much do you wanna bet that what we didnt see in this video was the tears in ozzy's eyes after hearing this

  • WHAT A MOMENT FOR OZZY. TO HEAR SOMETHING FROM HIS OLD FRIEND THAT HE'D NEVER HEARD? WHAT A GIFT.

  • One quick question... How do you lose an RR solo recording? o_O

  • @linchpin313 Very quite possibly the same way we found several recordings of me jamming on my guitar at a local studio, All about 4 years after I stopped recording. My recording was on "backup tapes". Stuff that gets tossed or thrown out after the real tapes are "certified and ready to roll". Sometimes these backup tapes can record longer or never stop recording as a way to make sure a "really good take" doesn't only have one copy. We had solo's and riffs on there I thought were never recorded.

  • 0.57 - Ozzy's reaction is priceless

  • 0:50-0:58 WTF moment LOL

  • One of my old teenage girlfriends back in the day was in love with Randy Rhodes. She saw him in concert in Ft.Wayne, Indiana shortly before his untimely death..Ozzy has always had great taste with his front axe men. They all had big shoes to fill after Randy died.

  • he don tknow who this is or what day of the week is..maybe sharon will tell him someday

  • THERES A RICKENBACKER BASS IN THE BACKROUND!

  • @3doghowl ...wow, no shit sherlock!

  • randy rhoads ripes ass at guitar! haha

  • @dentpopcan ..."ripes ass"? (sic)

  • Even after all of these years....watching him hear this for the first time...you can tell..he will never be happy until he is playing with Randy again...

  • I would have loved Ozzy to turn around at the end and be like..."That was actually me there, i was playing that on bobby's bass, don't ask me how" haha

  • @allybuchan1 I like your funny fantasies.

  • @allybuchan1 LOLOLOLOL LMAO. dude that made me laugh my ass the hell off XD

  • @allybuchan1 or better still playing that with his Bobby! (look up what Bobby is in Scotland, if you don't know you must be a C.B.E. = Complete Bell-End!).

  • @allybuchan1 hahaha I got a laugh out of that image in my head.

  • Amazing work.

  • "LETS HEAR THAT"!!!!

  • nice 426000 views exactly!

  • Oh a rickenbacker! at 0:31 I love those basses! just like cliff burton god bless him and randy rhoads too

  • WHY MUST THE GODS DIE YOUNG?!?!?!?!?!

  • EDDIE VAN HALEN on his BeST DAY couldnt play like this.....RANDY DID MORE on two ozzy albums....than eddie has YET to acheive.

  • @harveydents I think that's kinda unfair, really. They each had different styles. I think if Randy had lived, he would have gone on to be a classically trained guitarist and they'd be in different worlds, really.Randy was quite complimentary of Eddie and Eddie has had some nice things to say about Randy. It wasn't really a competition and isn't a competition. Eddies played some great rock stuff over the years, he AND randy BOTH changed the face of rock music.

  • @ZiddersRooFurry I totally agree buddy

  • @ZiddersRooFurry Randy was classically trained.

  • @dannyeglen Right, but he was constantly learning. He'd take lessons in every town the tour stopped in. It's just that the comments only let me fit in so much. I'm sure he'd have gone on to incredible things in the world of classical music. I even think he would have gone on to work with metal and rock musicians, much like Michael Kamen did.

  • My favorite Guitarist right there

  • Ozzy had probably heard it before. Lol

  • @loganb31 yahh probably so much drunk to remember it xDDD

  • @loganb31 Considering a lot of that is pretty standard Randy stuff, odds are he'd heard it before and just couldn't remember due to the passage of time (and memory loss). Sounds like the solo Randy used to play at Quiot Riot shows when he was in the band.

  • @ZiddersRooFurry ... Or he just wasn't there...

  • Subtitles please!

    :p

  • rip randy i own one of your signature models

  • @ztztzyzy Yeah, bad music always gives me indigestion.

  • i got the same face as ozzy right now

  • Ozzy said: "ROIGHT, that guy's good! Can I get 'em in my band, mate?"

  • @jkovert he's not australian lol

  • I love how all you people try to say oh just a bunch notes, crappy solo ......

He was not doing a song this was never meant to be on a record he was fucking around

how many of you will have anything to show 30 years AFTER your dead???

  • A lot of notes, nothing special.

  • @EclecticDiscus the soul you dumbass

  • i like how this moron shoots his mouth of yadda yaDDA YADDA while interrupting ozzys real reaction.

  • Just learnt this \m/

  • Tive certeza que o Ozzy ia chorar, dai o Randy fodão imenda uma musica clássica e ele fica surpreso e engole o choro kk

  • @GGutoLuiz Cala a boca! Viado!

  • FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK,lol!

  • @MuleMan14 try again.

  • Randy..man u were an amazing guitar player. Love u man!

  • @ 0:50

thats exactly how grandmother looks at us when we visit her in the nursing home.

  • im no great player.can someone tell me if rhoades tunes up to standard for this.hes usually in e flat right??????

  • @timpenfield5 I can't tell from just listening, but if its for the Blizzard of Ozz, it's in standard. The Madman sessions were down a step because their instrument tuner was miscalibrated.

  • keep pressing 8. sounds like the sound guy is saying "messege".... freaky

  • --- wasn't that charge of the light bridgade for a second? Lol.... awesome.

  • tabs???:PP

  • Ozzys brain just got fucked!!!

  • Wow at all of the hate I'm getting. So I'm a moron for saying this is the greatest solo I've ever heard ?

  • Fuck the trolls! Get better soon Randy!

  • @dkubick Please tell me you're trying to be ironic with that comment...

  • @dkubick *Extremereversefacepalm*

  • Do i see a Vox in the background!? :D (Vox is awesome!)

  • @hotrodsniper yeah but they had to put electrical tape over the "V" so as not to intentionally promote it i guess..lol

  • @TrollRaper69 All this advertising crap is getting too serious, i mean so what if its in a video, theyre not begging you to buy it. but Vox is a pretty good brand (from personal experience)

  • @hotrodsniper vox is very good but yeah the advertisement B.S. is out of control

  • 0:54 , He actually wanted to know the song...

  • @raresore Yeah xD It's the wilhelm tell overture if i dont have it mixed up somehow.

  • @borjeman Yup, but William actually!

  • @raresore Vilhelm i svärje ock rästen af skanndinavien.

  • @Xstractor Ja, men låten heter William, och det kan man inte ändra på... PS. Du stavade fel på Sverige, och, resten, av, Skandinavien ^^

  • @raresore Circus-music .-)

  • @raresore LoL

  • @raresore

man i just pissed myself.l funny. really funny indeed!

  • @raresore william tell overture?

  • Comment removed

  • @raresore 0:54 Guglielmo Tell Overture by Gioacchino Rossini, Mr Osbourne.

  • @raresore i need tabs :(

  • @raresore No - he said 'whats this' at the point at which Rhoads breaks into the William Tell Overture - understandably

  • This is incredible by far the greatest solo I've ever heard at 0:37 to 1:17 I'm blown away. Even Ozzy was speechless. Sorry to say but I think this is even better then ''Eruption'' by Eddie Van Halen.

  • @Soundwasteland Behave, it sounds like someone doing exercises. Why do people make rediculous over blown statements when talking about a dead guy?

  • @Soundwasteland Van halen is just fucking overrated.

  • @Kazardz not even close man...van halen is the true guitar hero, he innovated that whole style of guitar music so before you spew ignorance atleast do some research and van halen would melt randys face ive listened to every solo by both of them and van halen is faster, cleaner and more creative

  • @Soundwasteland your a fucking retard for that statement alone..turn up your miracle ear and im sure this solo will have you turning it back down...

  • @TrollRaper69 Both are great guitarist. But you bashing me and calling me a retard dosen't really help your arguement.

  • @Soundwasteland very true..allow me to apologize for my lapse in maturity...take care and enjoy life... :)

  • still after almost 30 years it blows you away !! this guitargod....... ,ozzy also very impressed !!

  • 0:31 like a kid who's just seen tits for the first time

  • ozzys facial expressions in this are freakin halarious!

  • that first lick is fucking tasty.

  • ;'jxdsfcvgnbuhinom,po,.,minubyvtcrxdvbyungi,omj.oimun4w359o0p- ...................sorry i was cleaning the jizz of my computer xD

  • "whats this?". Hahaha

  • dude........ozzy gets real sentimental about Randy

  • Following Ozzy to hell are you? I'd check that if I were you.

  • wow!

  • *sniff* :') that was beautiful..

  • Ozzy looks like an old tranny here!

  • 0:55 LOL!

  • cool man nice clip

  • I got chills, and these days, those good chills are hard to come by. Great post.

  • That just made my day. It's gonna be a good day now :)

  • THAT WAS SO FUCKING TASTY

  • shit that gave me cold chills!!!! Randy was my mintor, his style implements classical music, and that shit is hard to play. Thats why i think all the good guitarists start picking it up after they've already went through all the scales. Randy started geting in to it right before he passed away. RIP Randy you will always be missed!!!

  • @scuutt07 *mentor

  • lol i think one of ozzys eyes bulged for a second there this was pretty good Randy Rhoads > Zakk Wylde

  • Randy Rhoads will live forever in are hearts and his music god bless Randy Rhoads

  • John Mayer isn't in the same league as Randy Rhoads.30 years from now it will be John who where Randy will be remembered for ever RIP Randy Rhoads.

  • @chrish073

Sorry, but it probably won't be like that, sadly.

There are too many kids who don't listen to old heavy metal anymore, and it's slowly dying out.

All of this shitty screamo has replaced it, but a few neo-classical metalheads still remain.

John Mayer will be remembered as well, though. He's a pretty big star today, and it's been much more than 15 minutes of fame.

    Respect all good musicians.

    R.I.P. Randy Rhoads.

  • im 11 and i listen to lots of good stuff not screamo douche metal douche core chode emo shit

  • @tate180 good for you. now come back when your balls drop

  • @1251wire Drugs killed Randy bro, the pilot was blown out of his mind on cocaine. And no one new till it was to late.

  • @42lynchmob ur right bro' i flew off the handle and acted like a fag. I do feel like he tossed Jake though.

  • @1251wire Not sure if any of it is true, but oz claimed Jake was getting really bad with the alcohol. Who knows?? Like ozzy never used before...

  • I agree with the others that John Mayer is a far better guitar player than Rhoads could ever dream of being. If Rhoads was alive today, he'd be bowing at the feet of John Mayer.

  • @Rudee66

    Dude, that's bullshit.

I like John's music, but that's just plain bullshit.

You can't really compare the two in the first place, but if it were based on theory, uniqueness, and skill, Randy would blow him out of the water.

That being said, John's a great guitarist, and I love his Blues.

  • @AlexWerkmeister712

    I was joking.

  • @Rudee66

    Haha, thank god!

  • @Rudee66 Congratulations, you're stupid post took away any credibility you may though to have had. John Mayer can't touch Randy. Don't be foolish.

  • Incredible chops...but the most hideous overblown 80's tone I have ever heard from a guitar player. Ugh...horrid sound and tone.

  • gotta say, that was awesome..Wish we could hear him today and see what he would be doing with his talent..It's still great to go back and listen once in a while. I did have the pleasure of Seeing Jake E Lee with Ozzy and Badlands...Wish Jake was still out there too. We have lost a step or 2 because of pop, rap and computer music. There are some great new guns out there but I long for the day to see my old heros shine as they did when I was young. Long Live the Ripping Metal Muthah's of old...

  • See Ya Randy... R.I.P.

    FUCKING AWESOME SOLO!

  • what will make me happy when i die is to see Ozzy and Randy together again :)

  • @varone6t9 sorry to disappoint you but there's no such thing as an afterlife.

  • @rickyjshiznit People like you piss me off. It's their right to believe in what they want regardless if it's retarded or scientifically accurate. Just keep your opinion to yourself because nobody cares, including me. I just think someone should come out and call you an asshole for pushing your views on someone. Have a good day.
