i have the exact same motor! (except for the fact that its a 2011, but hey, there exactly the same!) Man, those things pack a huge punch for their size!

yeah man they sound awesome! yours is idling kinda rough though and man for 5hp they sure do pack a punch

That sure sounds rough and loud for a 4-stroke. Looking to get an 8 or 9.9 and that would turn me off the Tohatsu brand

I've got the same outboard but its the 3.5 (for those that want to know this is the Tohatsu MFS

Looks like exactly the same head on it, only difference i can see if the profiles leg and fuel intake line, Superb engines, highly recommended
