  • The Paramount Television logo has been replaced with the CBS Television Distribution logo.

  • @masterproxl - Yes, from season 3 on the CBS logo is on it. My later MacGyver DVDs still have the Paramount, as they were still released prior to the plastering. The seventh season release of that show coincided with the release of Season 1/2 of Wings. Both sets have the CBS Video logo at the beginning of the DVDs , but not anywhere else.

  • Paramount is featured with Wings, on USA Network, the first season episodes. Grub Street is featured with Frasier (1993), and from Wings (1990).

  • On Wings on USA Network.

  • Yes - this was seen on TV Land and it is seen currently on USA. The logo is nicely preserved for TV, but for the DVDs...after season 3 they're plastered on the DVDs.

  • This logo combo has never been seen on The Brady Bunch - it is from the first season of Wings, and Grub Street is also featured on Fraiser.

You're thinking of the old Paramount logo with "Closet Killer."

  • also seen on Frasier.

  • Yes, with the outro of "Toss Salads and Scrambled Eggs" before it, I think this logo is usually silent on Fraiser.

  • It was discontinued on "Wings" during the second half of season 2 (1991).

  • True, but the other two series I've mentioned kept using them.

  • Hmmm, interesting.

  • in 1997 or 1998 the viacom byline

  • 1995-1997 prints of Wings shown on both TV Land's syndicated run (which was until June '08), and USA's current syndie run use the Viacom byline Paramount logo - all episodes before 1994 use the Paramount Communications byline. Episodes from 1994 to 1995 vary greatly, and change every so often.

  • I like the Grub Street Logo. Although the design of the logo reminds me of Pumbaa from The Lion King.

  • The theme song for "Wings" fits nicely under it. Certainly nothing wrong with this logo, which is comforting in a world of scary logos!
