I have a couple quick questions. are though the original pickups? and are you happy with the feel and sound of the guitar and do you recommend this 7 string ?

yes these are the original pickups, the sound is much better IRL than in this vid though obviously.

yeah the guitar is brilliant, never really ahd any problems, the feel and sound are exactly what i wanted. the only gripe is that when standing up with a strap the guitar is neck heavy but that can be fixed by adjusting the bolts for the strap (making new ones basically).

100% recommend the guitar

I noticed you have the updated xiphos with the bevels, if I'm not mistaken? If you do, is it retardedly neck heavy? Or were you able to get a decent balance out of it by repositioning the strap buttons?

Yeah i have the updated one and it is extremely neck heavy but i've gotten used to it at this point. I will probably get better positioning sometime soon as it can be a bit of a pain.

Ah, that's unfortunate to hear. Did you mean you didn't reposition the buttons or did you already do that?

I haven't changed the placement of the buttons yet but i will eventually. It's an inconvenience but you do get used to it (well i did anyway)

sorry for the late response, yeah they're amazing guitars. they play well, stock pickups sound awesome, neck is slim and you wont have any problems with that

the only (small) complaint i have it that with the placing of the strap bolts, it makes it a bit neck heavy, but that can be easily fixed if it poses enough of a problem for you

The pickups in it are actually pretty decent. they arent the usual no-name ibanez stock pickups.

the pickups are actually pretty good, they sound a bit weird there as i'm using them through my computer speakers.

i am planning to replace them with 7 string blackout pickups when i can afford it, probably will have to wait til summer though
