So TRUE! Heels make me look weird. I love wedges, but skinny heels always gave me this weird effect. I couldn't pin point what it was. Even my little sister said I look weird. I am short and stocky and so adding a skinny heel. No no no! Love wedges though.

In my opinion the platform pump is a great heel for plus size ladies. I have thick thighs and calves and I find my legs appear longer and calves more narrow when I wear them. I usually choose the platform pumps with a thicker heel.

i can never fin the right jeans... i try to make them go around my stomach but i end up getting a huge muffin top... so i wear my jeans under my stomach but i think doing this makes me look bigger/? any suggestions?

okay i think it totally depends on age and body type. stilletos are totally wearable as long as it doesn't look like all your weight is pushing down on it

aww man i thought i was the only one who bought maternity clothes lol......that makes me feel better that im not the only one. All though when i go in the maternity store i get a lil embarrased when they ask me when my due date is haha....i just tell the the flat truth....that i have smaller legs than the rest of my body, and the pants fit me great in the belly and legs!!

You can also get Seven jeans in plus sizes at Lane Bryant (including thier web site of course), actually right now they have some great looking Seven tops on clearance!

Hey Anne, So great to see that there are other confident plus size women out there. You are beautiful. I wanted to comment on the stiletto comment. I think you should specify with pants or with a skirt because stilettos with a nice wide leg pant or jean can be very slindering and elongates the leg. Just a thought. Keep up the good work.

I Have the opposite problem, I don't think the maternity section will help. I have very thick thighs, so a size 20 fits my thighs but gapes in the waist because my tummy is pretty flat in proportion to the rest of me (so is my chest :). Come across any jeans that fit larger in the thigh?

Hi! Maternity jeans are the same size usually.  Because they have so much give I usually have to go a size down to get the fit right. All brands are different so I'd say give like 14-18 a try. I am 18/20 regularly but fir into 14 in old navy, and american eagle maternity randomly. The also go S M L XL so grab an XL if those are the options. Happy hunting, thanks for watching!!

Layer the front with the shortest layer being right underneath the chin, that will help lengthen your face and draw attention away from your neck/under the chin area. I have the same problem!
