My Rubie's Supreme Edition Darth Vader Costume - 10/31/2007

Hey dude, I'm thinking of buying one of these off the internet in a month or so, before the early halloween rush. Can you just tell me if it's worth the money? I'm already getting the Vader force FX lightsaber, but now I feel like going full-geek and getting this. So is it worth it? I've seen pretty good reviews, but you seem to be the only one on youtube who actually knows what they're doing in it (dancing Darth Vader? I'd sooner see the Emperor getting a botox injection).

Nice costume, but you're a little too short to be Vader. Stormtrooper would look better on you.

@abc12319525 It retails for around $800 to $1,000, but you can find them on eBay for about half that, especially before Halloween. I purchased mine off eBay and saved about 60%.

@starwarsjunkiie dont buy the rubies stormtrooper it is so bad you could get a screen accurate one for way cheaper. and as far as the boba fett one goes thats a joke you pay 900 bucks and you get a rubber belt lol

Search ebay, I've found a few people from Argentina and Brazil, I couldn't immediately find them, try a search word like "Vader suit". You'll find it

Do you mean which entire suit? In that case, I'd probably have to say Boba Fett. I don't know for sure. The Rubie's Darth Vader is a sauna, however, if you are able, money wise, to afford one of the good leather suits made by a guy in Brazil, they are much cooler. As for Boba and Stormtrooper, probably depends on the under suit as well.

what is your pant size? and was it comfortable?

I have about a 36 inch waist. It was comfortable, but it's very warm, mainly because of the jumpsuit underneath. It's fully cotton lined from neck to ankles. I wore it for about 3 hours straight that night. I'd suggest adding some padding in the helmet to make it fit better.
