Nice job for your first comp. try mounting your batteries on your axels and drill SMALL holes 180 degrees apart in your wheels to get more traction. You can also cut small notches out of your tire foam and add small lead weights or even bb's inside your tie to help have a lower center of gravity and greatly increased traction!
