@OldDreamFading This game just came out in the wrong decade / century. The video game industry has been overrun by fast paced gameplay with no story at all, and we have been accustomed to this. It is because of this reason that many people discarded this game, stating that the battle system was too old and slow. If this game had come out in the 1990s, or even the early 00s, it would have been considered as one of the greatest rpg games of all time.

My most anticipated game for more then 2 years now!!! XD I don't think I can or will ever anticipate a game as much as Lost Odyssey. This is gonna be it! I can't wait!!!

Have you seen the scene between Jansen and the Queen?...it's so beautiful! The music, the atmosphere...simple everything!

Oh, most definitely! I was lurking on those Lost Odyssey trailers on Gametrailers for days!!

It was truly gorgeous! It showed off the amazing in-game engine, superb voice-acting (cos of the perfect lip synch, I think I'll choose the English audio for the game XD), and was just all round awesome!

This baby is going to be my 360 system seller, no doubt!

this is going to be a very solid japanese rpg for the 360, something which is very much needed right now, but system seller? i dont know about that.

Count the number of high-profile JRPG's already out on the other systems (that's 0, if you're lazy). I think this could very well be a system seller just for that reason

wrong. there are indeed other japanese rpgs on the other systems. theres ff13 and the last remnant coming up on ps3, dragon quest games coming on wii, and i believe there are others out. plus the ps3 already has a huge library from ps2 and 1. i am glad, however, that a system besides playstation can finally really compete in this area.

Those are 'coming up', and please don't pull in the PS2 and PS1 libraries: If we want to play them, we'd just get a second-hand PS2 and play the PS1s on PC emulation if need be, not get a high-end gaming machine that costs over US$699.

You also forget that Squenix has set its sights on other projects now. Infinite Undiscovery is a 360 exclusive, while Last Remnant is multi-platform. In other words, the net amount of JRPGs is in fact MORE on the 360, ironically (Blue Dragon included).

yeah there are alot of good rpgs on the 360, including the last ramnant, blue dragon, and eternal sonata, and besides the ps3 dont have very good games out on it anyway.
