  • High british commanders were incapable&dumb&lazy&insane old farts - they killed many (british) brave men!!

  • lol y dont have to put sand on the mines, the wind just covers it!

  • @sheemsheem Don't forget the Holocaust either! Disgusting.

  • It is simply silly that they immitate the accents of other people speaking english. This is simply stupid!!!

  • Were the 88s hard to take out from the air?

  • i think rommel is much better than monty since he has little supply n still beat the crap out of the british until british supplies defeated him

  • They never seem to show the Italian contribution in the North African campaign

  • 03:40 - The mines are still there? - That's absurd!

  • @MrCapKorzeniowski

The Mines are still there. They cause the death of Thousands of people who life in that Region. Both Sides used Mines to such an extant that they denied each other to break through.

  • @MrCapKorzeniowski Rommel is still fragging post mortem.

  • @MrCapKorzeniowski Why? mines dont just dissapear. :P

  • to those who are wondering why we praise Rommel, despite being the enemy, he was not only a brilliant strategist but he was also very "nice". He defied Hitler's orders multiple times, refusing to kill Jewish POWs for example. He publicly denounced Hitler's treatment of the Jews, and he one of the only (if not the only) German leaders whose unit (Afrikakorps) didn't commit any war crimes. He may have been fighting on the wrong side but he was fighting as a human with honor and morals.

  • @Imprezaman555 IIRC the only other place in the german armed forces you found that level of "following the rules of war" was in the air and the submarine groups both of which kept their honour of treating the enemy with respect and accepting and helping those who surrendered.

  • @MitchofSmeg Oh yeah I forgot about them, odd because they were so significant too. That said historically the air was usually a more "civil" fighting ground, although I don't know much about the subs.

  • The Brits had this tank busting Hurricane, armed with 40 mm "S" auto cannons. While no as sexy or fast as the more famous Spitfire (even with the same engine), the Hurricane was aknowledged as a superb and stable gun platform.

  • I realy think the panzer III was a pretty good tank and personally my favorite :D those Dragon 1/35 models are a real beauty...

  • Had Rommel had better supply lines and a good stream of reinforcements... Monty would have been crushed. Rommel was 10x the general Montgomery was.

  • German armies always lost in quantities, it seems they only care qualities.

  • @FeelFree3 well

    what would you choose?

lots of suicide masses with shitty equipment

or few well trained and well equipet ?

  • rommel is god of the desert......look at his strategic retreat showing afrika korpz he is GOD OF THE DESERT ONE LAST TIME!!! R.I.P rommel !!

  • @sheemsheem not really old son, remember he LOST!

  • @grahamkeithtodd Rommel is king of Africa, Manstein is king of eastern front: end of story......British = king of bombing cities with women/children than claiming Germany commited war crimes

  • @sheemsheem for a start both the german genarals you mentioned LOST!

second the Germans started bombing civies before the british did!

and third the Germans commited war crimes!

so you lose all your aurguments old son! :-P

  • Its interesting how much logistics, fuel water and food can quickly spell the end of a campaign. Great men both Rommel and Monty.

  • if rommel had enoguh supplies monty could be patton's pet

  • @deathsaurer123 yep his fault for not planning right

  • I thought they had Flak 18's.

  • awesome :P

  • Thanks for uploading that!

A word on Rommel's epic failure at Bir-Hakeim should have been noted, explaining how the 8th army could be back to safety during Rommel super-fast push :)

  • @GuessIIIwho A failure because of the heroic defence by the French Foreign Legion

  • no comments?

  • @117kLee

    first comment!

  • @ThePanzerWarMachine i think the artillery tactics learnt by the brits in ww1 appeared again 30 years or so later. still deadly it seems.
