  • great fish!

  • shit that gold fish is at my age

  • hey um how long does it take for a black moor goldfish to age

  • aww poor fishy. can we get an update??

  • Did he die yet?

  • @GhillieSniper115

i met him recently. he's very happy and looks to be about 17 years old.

  • So.. did he survive?

  • Goldfish are tuff cookies. My sister's goldfish got both of its eyes ripped/eaten from the sockets and is still alive and fine.

  • @SuperKodakMan I really do not think he's fine, he just can't express that to you.

  • As long as he's alright. Thats hardcore.

  • ha lol, my fishey has like, no tail left, because the other fish were picking on him

  • I guess that fish figured out the cure for cancer on his one....

    now that's one badass fish.

  • awh poor thing :,(

  • god bless u goldy

  • that's disgusting! I think that's blood tho.

  • @Dimunic If you comment me back I'm not even opening it. I've blocked you. What dont you get? I don't want to talk to you. And you haven't insulted anyone? Fuck face, does "r-tard fag" ring a bell? It's on this page, YOU DID insult someone. I only punch low if you've already gone there. And, yes, you're a troll. You came onto this video and negatively replied to several old ass comments. Mine being almost a yr ago. I'm happy with my life. That's why I don't NEED Youtube to make me feel better.

  • @Dimunic The real question is, how could YOU be that stupid? A dragon or bubble eyed goldfish doesn't know it's eyes are shaped outwardly, to them his eyes are like a comet's eyes. So, when they bump into plants and hurt themselves it's accidental. Not self harming purposely. And scratching on the rocks? Butt munch, it's called 'flicking/flashing'. They do that because their outer slim coat is itching them, due to bad water quality or parasites.

  • @Dimunic Ugh...bleeding in this fins is called Septicemia (goldfish don't self harm), you fucking twat. Grow up. I'm sorry your parents didn't give you enough attention.

  • @Dimunic You are one annoying, troll loser moron.

Tumors occur, sometimes, on goldfish. Tumors can be benign or malignant. BASIC MEDICAL KNOWLEDGE. Anything that can get a tumor can get cancer. You're such a troll idiot, wait 'r-tard' (LMFAO) I'm not responding to you anymore because all you want is attention on a video that is 2 yrs old.

  • Goldys no more cancer

  • so that's what the tail means when ever it has a rip tail

  • is he okay!?

  • Fuggin amazing!!

  • proud of him

  • so it had cancer then it got rid of it?

  • wow i wish they could do that for humans

  • You could you would jest have to loose an arm

  • Better than dying though

  • yes it is

  • buy some Melafix it works really well

  • thats fin rot silly ! not cancer lol

just go to a local fish shop and buy treatment for it. he will be fine within bout 2 weeks

  • @ricardobrad good guess, but I would say not, although you really don't deserve all the ass comments that were thrown at you.

Sheesh people give the kid a break...

  • Hope the fish gets better! :D <3, mae4w

  • cool tank. gotta luv the fish! =)

  • Ouch, poor fish...D:

  • How's he doing now? Well, is he still around? Poor guy... Looks painful.

  • I, for one, agree with this person here.

You people are a bunch of retards for rating him 'thumbs down'.

Just because you are too damn lazy to read a sentence or paragraph, doesn't mean it would get 'thumbs down'!

  • its a disease deush bag

  • actually i just made a spelling error. and i was talking about smoking you ass hole. You talk about shit like if you dont want cancer then dont smoke, well sometimes its not that easy. the fact that you act so heartless toward the sick is why i meant to call you a "douche bag" and y you got like 50 thumbs down on these comments.

  • I said nothing about smoking. Absolutely, not one single thing about smoking in any of my comments on this page. How am I heartless toward sick people if I take the time to learn about this disease which affects many SICK people (in this case, goldfish)?

If your going to call someone something, you should really learn how to spell it first. There's spelling mistakes and then there's just making an ass out of your self. There's a HUGE difference in 50 and 9.

  • you are a small nodule on my lungs

  • looks like cancer to me, i had a couple of fish with bacterial rot which was treated using some basic chemicals and did not look like what this fish has. this is a tumor or cancer that happened to grow on a tail which is fairly common, dipshit.

  • He was like "Fuck cancer!" and just flicked it off XD

  • i can see blood coming off the tail

  • idky people think goldfish dont live long i have had over 100 fish in my time and the one that lived the longest was my first fish it lived for 5 years....and it WAS a goldfish.

  • gold fish are the spartans of aquarium fish! ha! i've had a gold fish since i was in 2nd grade. im 18 now. he's got cataracts and is white now. and doesn't swim higher than about 6 inches of the bottom of the tank. but he's hanging in there.

  • THAT FISH IS MY GRANDPA!!!!!!!!!!

  • it...it just...it just shook off cancer! lol i think you should send this to someone, like a goldfish tail-cancerologist XD

  • poor little guy =[ is he still living ?

  • healthy fish

  • LMAO ur terrible

  • lol

  • I didnt see anything. was i suppose to? ha ha

  • Congrats, your goldfish is a female!

  • how do u know?

  • personally im more impressed that it just shook the cancer off

  • ....!! The Cure to CANCER!

  • time to spread the word

  • umm dude? cancer can be removed by amputation so... yeah

  • its not you cant tell if their sex is male or female

  • Assshole...

  • why does that make him an asshole, it is just a fish

  • i dont like u my fish hate u!

  • HOLY SHIT that was cool

  • Did you immediately remove all fish and put them in a separate tank while you clean that tank? That's what I would have done. I would get scared of infecting the other fish. I'd put that bleeding fish in a hospital tank. Get meds to treat the bleeding D:

  • aww...im just wondering...can u scare a fish so bad to where it has a heart attack? its just a weird question that popped in mind o.o (no hate plz)

  • I think that would be called shock. That can be possible... Don't do it on purpose, it's inhumane. No tapping on glass or whatnot D:<

  • Just to know as a certified first aid/cpr and from 7 years military and a certified CLS (Combat Lifesaver)... yes you can die from a heart attack from being in shock. Your blood is rushing back and forth from your extremities to your internal organs.. And just being scared can put you in shock (like your fear in a car wreck, etc...).. That's why when you aren't hurt at all, the ambulance people still want to look at you so they could treat you for shock. So you won't die.

  • oh well some idiot told me its just in films..

  • That little goldfish is a legend. He fought for love and carried the weight of cancer for all those years.

  • Its a bacteria ans curable but in sure he must have died already but if not treat it a animal that old with us deserves that and much more

  • Whatever, he's a cool looking goldfish and looks happy!

  • He made a very sharp move and whipped his tail around. In doing so, it actually broke a large portion off the top of his tail with the tumor attached as you can see by the blood coming out of the stump. It wasn't something he just decided to shake off one day. Regardless of it being cancerous or not, it was shaken off. I hope this helps you Dr. Doolittle.

  • @raydourque u hope it helps em sleep at night.....jajaja

  • Scuttlebutt89 You make so fucking sense. Are you some kind of a fish doctor? What ever the fucking case, it looks like it fell off, so deal punk.

  • @Scuttlebutt89 Its not even a tumor or cancer. Its fin rot, a parasitic disease that attacks the fish when the fish is severely stressed out. Ussually caused by poor care, poor water quality, rough objects, etc.

  • Oh good, at least now the fish will be healthier.

  • People saying it's fin rot, you didn't read the description. The cancer fell off, which is why there's a chunk missing and it's bleeding. (Although fin rot could ensue if the water isn't treated with a mild antibiotic as a preventative step.)

  • Yes, thank you. It is indeed some sort of cancerous lump that was slightly smaller than a golf ball so it was very weighty on his tail which is why it may have caused it to just break that part of the tail off. I'm not sure why people think it's fin rot.

  • Probably 'cause some people haven't watched the old video with the cancer, they assume that this video is indeed showing the cancer. (Which goes to show that few people knows what it actually looks like lol.) Hope your fishy stays nice and healthy and cancer-free!

  • thanks for answering!

yup, it was a fairly big cancer ball if you've seen any of the other videos before this one and he shook the whole growth off in one crack of his tail when i was trying to film him and he got a bit spooked. Right now he's looking pretty good for a cancer survivor. I think i need to make him an orange ribbon.

  • It looks like he/she has either fin & tail rot or Ick, maybe that helps a little! I have 3 goldfish that are 10 years old and I've treated them before...they had the same thing. A water conditioner with Aloe seems to help stop mine from getting it :)

  • Hurray! I think it's not cancer but some kinda tail rot.

  • Is there a shallow end or a diving board at his private swimming pool? Is his tank big enough for two?

  • Yay!

  • is he still alive?

  • yes, he is alive and now added a few frozen peas to his diet to keep him regular.

  • @raydourque should i feed them frozen peas?

  • @ro7477 Frozen peas are a good supplement for goldfish, they act as a mild laxative. But they will not replace regular fish food.

  • Miracle goldfish- you are like the 'little engine that could'. Just keep swimming and thinking positive and good things happen-like shaking the cancer! We could all learn a lot from you.

  • um...wow

  • Do you think that some of the new rocks in his tank might have had a little magic to help him shake the cancer? I think heart shaped rocks could help the little guy the best with his health issues.

  • There are no heart-shaped rocks in the tank but I think he might be in love with someone who has the same 9 second memory as he does.

  • fuck ya, that fish is bleeding from a stump!!!!!!!! i love it rock on fish, get some gold bitches!!!!

  • Oh no! Is he bleeding?!!! He's gotta just keep swimming - just keep swimming- just keep afloat! we got so much more catching up to do!

  • hang in there goldfish! hang in there!!!

  • ...he's hanging.....a long line of turd as he swims.

  • @raydourque Good one!
