I'm actually disappointed with the new Mario Party games. I only like playing on the original boards, like from Mario Party 1where it's a race to the star at semi-random points on the board. Not playing on a train, or only moving in one direction.
It was nice to see new ideas, but they just aren't as fun as the original boards. The mini-games are still fantastic though.
Hehehe. The only time you can use graffiti somewhere and not get busted by the cops XD. Once Hudson gets into development of MP9 (please Hudson), I hope they look back at MP8 so they can try to avoid any glitch/responsive mishaps so we can enjoy the gameplay...and Wi-fi wouldn't hurt either.
This game was good. Although it lacked the sense of humor from Mario Party 7 and the music in this game wasn't as great, there's more stuff for you to do.
That was probably the only minigame I couldn't win against the computers. I hope the next installment of Mario Party (if there is one) is better. I really enjoy Mario Party games, but sadly they get old really fast.
It's been quite a while since Nintendo released the latest Mario Party. I can remember back in the days when Mario Party was a yearly franchise like Madden.
The thing they need to do is give players more frickin options. Not everyone considers getting luck screwed as fun.
They need to allow players to disable certain mini games and features, just for starters.
However the main reason it feels and was/is stale, is because they try to change some of the things that work and keep most of the things that don't. Mario party 2 was great IMO because it kept a the right things while changing some of the not so good things, both boards and mini games.
Yeah I was being more general so players could disable 'harder' mini games or games they just didn't like. Of course I'm sure a lot of us would beeline to turn off those luck games.
Some people do like the 'luck, anyone can win element' but some of us do prefer a fairer contest based on merit.
You could argue Mario Party is all about luck and about 'anyone having a chance' I'm not saying get rid of it, I'm saying make the game customisable as so that you can put in and take out content.

@Overhazard then why was it to me?

@Bmaster1001 To make sure the sequence is correct. Sometimes, YouTube will put the replies out of order if a comment gets more than one reply.

Who were u playing as?
My friend and I have a trick to this. We just scribble all over it really fast, and it works. We always win that way.
kingferret53 2 years ago
who are you playing as?
freddefripp 2 years ago
Trying to actually FILL IN the shape takes more time than scribbling all over the stone.
This way, i can get more than 20 points if i tried.
henny5555 2 years ago
I would've thought there'd be some sort of penalty for doing that, as games like these tend to have thought of someone trying that.

Yep...though you don't get any prize for that.

You're doing it wrong! Try completely covering the entire rock with Spraypaint. It'll work. Just do it.

You're exploiting a loophole, so technically, you're the one doing it wrong.

Yeah, same with King of Fighters. People got tired of both, but people never get tired of Madden NFL.
I think Hudson is going back to make a serious reworking of Mario Party...or just let it take a break for some time so it won't feel so stale.

The only games i despise on here are THE LUCK games.
I mean, its fuckin' luck. ANYONE can win without any skill. You could be the Mario Party master, and still get flung off the canyon.

That was pretty good... On average I can get 10 as well, but I can get up to 12 if lucky.
Try and do it on Super Hard and you'll see.
