From now on, that's my favorite Vivaldi piece. I only knew the stabat mater version of Giovanni Pergolesi, but this one's much better. The basso continuo provides the harmonic structure very well. Thanks for uploading this gem of sacred music.
Well, I wouldn't say this is better than Pergolesi's version; I absolutely LOVE Pergolesi's, and it's so...no words to describe it fully. However, Vivaldi's is incredible as well.

excellent phrasing with the countertenor. His sensitivity to the manuscript makes this for me along with the counterpoint. Thank you very much:)
