Hi, 77rock79. I went to high school in the early '80s. It was not all sugar 'n' spice 'n' everything nice. Don't get me wrong--the '80s were interesting, but they weren't paradise or anything. They were just different. Of course, life probably was simpler--there was no e-mail, Internet, cell phones, etc. Cable and music videos were just becoming popular. But it's so easy to think that everything was so great back then, when it wasn't necessarily.
