What I mean....I don't mean the "out" sound as something that is bad...I mean it changes a lot and gets the groove more flavour. Such an example (not played in this section...Lydian Dominant...with that change it makes it sound different from the diatonic scale. Anyway, that's my two cents. It sounds amazing though. Very enjoyable.

Out sound? he nails all the chord changes dead on and is playing 5th 7ths and 9ths, sometimes the tonic, on downbeats..
