  • Comment removed

  • @Alpha1Papa I thought of Covey since that is a flock of birds. And John's codename is raven.

  • @victorrain

Nah. I'd rather be a venomous snake.

  • Company leader calling Raven.Come on Raven.

    Company leader calling Raven.

Company leader to Raven, talk to me, Johnny.

Company leader to identify Baker Team:

    Rambo, Messner, Ortega, Coletta,

    Jorgensen, Danforth, Berry, Krakauer.

    Confirm.

    This is Colonel Trautman.

    Talk to me, Johnny.

  • @Djperan there all gone sir.

  • THEY DREW FIRST BLOOD. NOT ME.

  • Jerry goldsmith's score really makes the scene.

  • "as he speaks almost like a child "

Wtf are you talking about? How is he speaking like a child? He speaks like a soldier.

  • @ooOmegaSupremeoo Well said !

  • "As he speaks like a child" ? O_o

  • They drew first blood, not me.

    They drew first blood...

  • Thank you for posting this classic scene...

  • Theyn all, gone,sir

  • I'm the last one Sir...

  • trautman has a nice voice

  • There are no friendly civilians.

  • Richard Crenna. What a fucking awesome actor. Rest in Peace.

  • To understand the success of the Rambo films you need to understand that Trautman was not only the father Rambo did not have but also the father we never had.

  • great movie, great writing great acting.

  • Its a long road, when you're on your own~

  • Trautman's such a great character, he's such a legend

  • IF U BLAST YOUR TV OR CPU MONITOR.. OR PUT ON SOME HEADPHONES AND PUT IT REALLLLL FUCKIN LOUDDDDD ... YOU WILL REALISE HE DOES NOT SAY COMPANY LEADER.. NOWHERE NEAR COMPANY LEADER.. JUST CLARIFYING THAT TO THOSE ARGUEING.

  • its fashionable to bash stallone, he showed in this film especially the final scen that he can really act

  • haha king shit cop

  • Brian Dennehy and his cop buddies got what they deserved for doing what they did in this movie.

  • MAKE THIS EMBEDDABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Stallone at his best, good film, amazing scene together with the ending.

  • "Talk to me jonny"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol 'crack hour'

  • what did he say copy leader caling raven?

  • @gunbojason he says company leader calling raven. Raven was rambo's code name in the field at a time apparently :D

  • @weller31989 i found somewhere that he says covey leader calling raven

  • Comment removed

  • @weller31989 Nope, he says Covey Leader.

  • @weller31989 Would he really be using the team's names over the radio during a combat op? Or did Trautman do that to further prove it was him?

  • RAMBO IS A FUCKING CLASSIC ALL TIME MOVIE

  • man first movie that sparked my interest in the army/military. sorry army, marines got me.

  • Great Scene..

    Is friend is back.

  • There are no friend civilians. They drew first blood. Not me Over.

  • Stirring.......

  • i love the music in the beginning. it really sets an eerie kinda mood

  • One of the best scenes ever. Thanks for the post.

  • good idea, ill do the same

  • Thx for the info MacKeyser, i don't own the DVD so I haven't checked the subtitles, but "covey" sounds more accurate

  • I have "Company leader calling Raven" for my alarm clock alarm.

    Wakes me up everytime..

  • @XxLiveBaitxX

I think others have corrected this. It's "Covey Leader calling Raven"... covey: meaning a small flock of birds.

  • @XxLiveBaitxX LOL nice one, thats a good start to the day !

  • they sure did mess with the wrong dude......rambo what a badass

  • " There All Gone Sir "

  • this scene remindes me of my friend luke i talked to him on a radio and we havent seen each other for a long time.

  • This movie is one of my favorites, in my top 3, and this scene is just really powerful. Think it might be my favorite in the whole movie.

  • Comment removed

  • "got himself killed in Nam..........and didn't even know it"

  • I remember seeing this in theater 1982, great movie.

  • All I wanted was somethin to eat.

  • "They drew first blood not me"

  • ouhh thanks, i was in trouble..hahaha

  • hey,can anybody help me? (couse im not english) i just wanna know what does the colonel says: **** **** calling raven.... covy leader or somethnig like that?

  • It's "Company Leader calling Raven, come in Raven".

  • He says "Company leader calling Raven..."

  • Covey Leader...not Company leader

  • Gotta call bullshit on that one chief. Ever served in the military? Division/Battalion/Company/Platoon/Squad - EXACTLY IN THAT ORDER. What the fuck is a "covey", over...?

  • A covey is a small group of birds....Hence Rambos call sign as Raven. All of the other members probably had similar "bird" call signs. Trust me its Covey leader.....look up the dialoge on the internet.

  • Accepted. Well done. I stand corrected. It makes sense now that I think about it. Small group, small callsigns...

  • @harrison58 the military uses code names for projects, operations and for communication over radio as a means of identifying a soldier without saying his real name the codenames are created and usually easier to designate a group in this movie baker team chose a bird theme, "covey" meaning a flock of birds or group of persons, trautmann was designated covey leader, rambo was raven etc

  • @Jaegar19Ultima Awsome!!

  • I like his comment in 2:24

    KING SHIT COP.

  • "They drew first blood not me"

  • "i support our military, but not our cops, as they are bastards. rambo is an awesome movie. this shows that cops cannot treat our military vets like shit."

Wow, what a way to lump everyone in one basket. If you knew anything about the story of movie you would know that the sheriff in that town didn't like Rambo because he was a Vietnam Vet and the sheriff was a Korean War Vet.

  • There was a big difference between those two wars. The Korean war was supported by the Philipines of which many Philippinoes died because they were sent out in front. After this, the Philipinoes honored their "contract" with the US by providing military support--- secondary that is. They provided the supply and food for the Vietnam war.

  • i support our military, but not our cops, as they are bastards. rambo is an awesome movie. this shows that cops cannot treat our military vets like shit.

  • Damn...this scene is really good/emotional.

  • That´s so damn sad: "They´re all gone Sir". Including the music this makes me understand the sadness of every soldier who lost a comrade somewhere in the world.

Damn... Rambo-1´s the fucken best action movie ever made

  • ok that is weird!!!

  • "Troop leader calling Raven.

Troop leader to Raven, talk to me, Johnny." - is now my ring tone xD

  • really?can u send me that ring tone to me?.

  • excelent scene! fantastic! the greatest action movie ever!

  • I'm probably going to get bashed for saying this but that was some damn fine acting. Stallone ain't that bad!

  • if you give some one an acting role that fits him, everybody can act... and this role fits him like a glove

  • I won't bash you. This is a great film.

  • I agree with you.

  • @Xahn i totally agree

  • @Xahn Xahn, don't worry about getting bashed. This was a very touching moment, helping show the relationship and respect between Rambo and Trautman. And I don't think Stallone is that bad at all.

  • @Xahn No bashing here.... That was a stiiring moment in the movie, and it had to be the acting...

  • @Xahn

People forget that he is a academy award nominated actor for the first rocky

  • @Xahn First Blood was the best of all the Rambo movies. A very beliveable story, good characters played well by some great actors. Not too much special effects & NO CGI to ruin the movie. The gun/shooting scenes are done very good. No women running around in the way. Great filming locations. Stallone did great acting here. You can see the tension as he's deciding if he should answer Trautman's radio call. Raven is Rambo's call sign. Trautman's call sign does sound like Covey Leader to me.

  • @Xahn i won't bash you, he does very well in this movie.

  • @Xahn Uhh what makes you think you'll get bashed for pointing out the good acting in a classic movie? It's not like you're saying Justin Bieber ain't bad!

  • Thanks for posting this scene, could you also post the scene where he's talking to the sheriff. The one where he's talking about how he made Rambo. Or post the ending that was good too.

  • I love this scene! Thanks for posting!
