Iran is a wonderful country with a rich and diverse culture, hands down on that. Having said that - the legal system of Iran is dreadful. It has been dreadful in the last 30 years- where has the media been in all these years when women, men, minors were executed, tortured, stoned to death?! We had democracy in Iran during Mossadeq-era (1950) but CIA through operation ajax made sure we Iranians instead go a dictator named Shah.
