this was one of the best film's i have ever watch i have not seen it for some years now,i am here talking this film to my sons and daughter and her boyfriend if there is a film worth while too watch then this is it. all though this film i thought the story line was very good and the acting that was perform by all was fantastic. The only down side is it has not been shown enough on the t v i am going to try and see if i can get it on line.

Dil is the kind of figure that Hannibal Lecter would become obsessed with - I'm sure he'd see Dil as a pure, beautiful spirit and forget about Clarice in no time!

Silence of the Lambs and Crying Game were both very similar masterpieces and I could easily see the characters existing in the same 'world'.

I think this movie, while interesting, has a major flaw in that it tries to be two very different things at once: a fairy tale romance and a realistic military story. The final scene suggests a happy ending to the romance. But what happened to the military story? Where's its outcome? In short, the man in prison will eventually have to face the IRA and is very unlikely to survive his term to meet his love on the outside.

jordan's movies are characterised by using violence as a faming device and while you first think its a military film, its not, the main story is about the torment of fergus who is caught between his responsibilities and his nature. the scenes in the glasshouse are about the bond between jodi and fergus, not the military part, the main thread of this film is the triangular relationship, not the ira!

I don't think that I would be able to continue finding out that this person had a penis. Now, that being said, I do want to be an open-minded person. Now, I have guy friends that are gay, bi and straight. Regardless of their sexual orientation we are all still able to be great friends.

I liked the movie, but I had some problems with it. I can't believe he didn't know that she was actually a he, come on, it was so obvious. First I saw her(him), the adam's apple, his voice, everything. You have to be totally drunk to be fooled by that. Overall however, great movie.
