When I worked at Lake Louise in Banff, we had two that hung around the staff cafeteria patio. We named them "Fatty McGee" and his cousin "Fats McGillicutty", because they were so stuffed from dropped french fries that they could barely move.

While I'm at it, please don't feed wildlife! You aren't doing them any favours.

IT's a squirrel....got one right besides me while i'm writing this. marmots(french term) are much bigger. got some too and they don't care about being in the picture!

well, i've seen Marmots out west and this looks like a suirrel to me. Marmots are MUCH bigger than squirrels.

FYI a Marmot is also a kind of squirrel - Its a type of ground squirrel . Therefore it is not wrong for them to say it's a squirrel , coz it is :D
