  • It's funny cause the inventor of Uberstix has a video titled "Most Amazing Toy", but ofcourse, he knows deep inside, that nothing can beat Lego. So he made it compatible! Very smart move.

  • lmao at all the haters. wait... haters? on a toy? seriously? cant believe people like that exist

  • imagine ALL the possibilities!

  • yo people stop hatin. this is pretty cool.

  • lego beats the shit outa this

  • @Kostaplays Maybe this makes Lego even better,,,

  • @Ratboy8888 No, legos make legos even better. This turns it into some sort of weird Frankenstein monster sort of thing.

  • As a aerospace engineering major from Missouri University of Sciences and Technology Rolla I can for one verify that we indeed do not use uberstix in the class room, either as an example or as a display in any way. I'm not dogging your hobby, but the functions of uberstix is limited to basic mechanics, leavers, maybe gears, perhaps making a track or centripetal motion on a pivot point are pretty basic machines...

  • Cool Lego is best:D

  • yay i come from denmark where legos originated and the name is based of off "leg" which means "play" and "godt" which means "good"

  • men you are crazy for this things... meybe someday make pfff a big tower in real size. :D

  • Is it weird for anyone of any age to be creative and the answer is, of course not! Architects use Uberstix as a design tool. Colleges and Universities use Uberstix in their robotics and structural design programs and teachers use Uberstix in the classroom with lesson plans starting at K1 through K12

  • is it weird for a 21 years old guy to play with this ?

  • Legos are still better

  • They may not be the greatest toys ever, but they look like an interesting supplement to the greatest toy ever.

  • Please show some of the things you can do with 8 pieces then

  • What? Mate? Ok when did toys have a mind of their own can my transformer hump my hot wheels and have a Transwheels?

  • Lego's goes with everything! EVEN FOOD >:| lol jk but seriously lego's rule, uberstix+lego+kinex=Kilegostix pronunciation

    kAI-lego-sticks

  • Dear Sir,

Although this toy is impressive. Nothing can come close to the legendary things we call lego.

  • i think i have fallen in love...

  • lol i thouhgt it was mates w knex >.>

  • Knex+ Uberstix + LEGO = Knazistigo? well...I know what im NOT buying now XD

  • you should raise the pivot point on the catapult i know the real name but can't spell it lol its something like trebuchet

  • lame

  • Right now, im trolling the internet, and I cant lie, this is actually legitly cool

  • LEGO HYBRED P@RN

  • lol legostix

  • If they mate with everything you should have called them "Slut-Stix" or "Nympho-Blocks". XD

  • omg i just realized legos are like sex. you put the long thing in the hole. -_-

  • @windson7 How old are you?

  • @windson7 Figures. -____-

  • has anyone ever noticed then when you were building things out of LEGO's that you could only find the 2x3 peg blocks when you WEREN'T looking for them? Then you actually need one and they are nowhere to be found? Another question, has anyone ever stepped on a LEGO? Most painful thing ever...

  • legos are awsome there are many types of bricks decoritive, blocks, flat peices, smooth peices, and technic peices , plus mindstorms and power functions !

  • Kannst du auch ne Swastika fabrizieren mit diese Überstix?

  • lego all the way

  • they all ... sucks -_-

  • Legos !

  • Hey uberstix. how many difrend options do you have?

    - we have OVER 9000!!!

  • cool

  • Prepare for a lawsuit : D

  • Possabilities now with LEGO and K'Nex and Uberstix combined... errrrmmmm... ITS OVER NINE GOOGOLPLEX!!!!!!!

  • THIS IS FU**ING AMAZING! excuse my language, just expressing how awesome these things are!

  • so this is basically what you do all day, make videos of "Uber"stix and Legos? If you really like doing this just stick with the classics, Legos.

  • holy shit that would be unstopable

  • LEGOS ARE BETTER!!!

  • add both together... they r uberlegos!!

  • @gmodman999 YES!

  • Comment removed

  • i bet if u mix lego with knex u can build heavy stuff XD

  • the Uberstix ever loose their shape??

  • Lego doesn't need ubersticks, sorry.

  • There is no rule 34 on ÜBERSTIX ==> Its not real. LEGO is UNPWNABLE !

  • Lego being the greatest construction system of all time, I like the compatibility. Keep up the good work!

  • legos dude ubersticks is like a century behind legos i mean legos even started robotic engineering with it!! no competition

  • lego is better

  • Omfg Lego is already plural you retards.

  • lego best

  • Normal LEGO will ALWAYS be the best!!!!!!

  • i vote legos

  • lego makes uberstix

  • Legos are still better

  • legos or uberstix u can always find something to make at any age

  • But what about duplo???

  • @poopopoop duplo is too young to mate

  • You could make the best Floating Arm Trebuchae out of those :D

  • these are really neat... are these available in the us?

  • did any1 tell lego that k'nex gave uberstix herpes

  • i think im gona make a half uberstix half lego peice, call it a "ubgo", and make a kenex uberstix piece, call it a "knstix", then mate the "ubgo" and "knstix" and call it "WTF IS THIS?!" (lol)

  • I want "WTF IS THIS?!" :D

  • @diealein LOL!!! Great idea!!!

  • Really!?It mates with lego??Cool!!Hmm....now where did I put my old lego brick? =D

  • @tiger2405 it also works with knex

  • your not going to get to far with one brick

  • lol, i get it, they mate. PUT THAT UBER STICK IN MY LEGOS! kinky :D very creative btw xD

  • hmmm

  • lego is the best nothing can compare with legoooo ;D

  • yeah agreed I miss my lego time as a kid

  • ok save the world

  • FUCKING UBERSTIX ROCK

You can clearly tell they are awesome because they have uber in their name.

  • if this can mate with legos...doesnt that waeken your arguement because it still uses legos???if your wonder sticks were truely perfect youd only need the sticks and never use the legos agian

  • No if anything it strengthens his argument as (if you watch his other videos) you can see that they work perfectly alone but with the capacity to to used with other products you can create more. The best product is never 'standalone' it is adaptive to its environment (in this case it's market)

  • nah that's ignorant thinking

why waste a perfectly fine system that's in nearly every household out there?

  • Nothing's perfect. But if your kid has lot's of legos, and is into them, this might add some new dimensions. I'm buying mine the legos first, though.

  • @mowgli2071: I agree, after watching most of the vids, I would still prefer the LEGO's, but if your child is 'uber' intelligent, he/she might enjoy adding the Uberstix. The 'foam' glider was nice also, but it say a five year old can use it?! Somehow, I doubt many 5 year olds would though. And these Uberstix are just plain ugly. I can only see them as minimalistic connectors and not really handy for anything more.

  • @mowgli2071 Exactly legos are easier to work with wait until they get the hang of legos before buying Uberstix :D

  • I can't recognize the song, and yet I know I've heard it somewhere. Anyone has the title for me? Thanks. (PS: Uberstix looks nice!)

  • these things are amazing!!! I've been using legos for a while and this is way more than that...someone could build a house with thse things...

  • I Wonder If Uberstix Would Work With Bionicle Parts... That Would Be Awsome :D

  • Yes ...Uberstix do mate with Bionicle parts!!

  • HOLY FUCK THATS AMAZING

  • uberstix go far away than the lego .

  • when will they start selling these?

  • Lego!!!!!!!

  • LEGO

  • right :D Lego rulezzz :D

  • I LOVE LEGO!!! LEGO 4 EVER!!!

lol^^ no, really, I think legos are waaay better... you can build everything you want out of legos.... Legos rule :D Best toy ever :D

  • Each of the 8 basic Uberstix parts has x number of connection points... u multiply the number of those connection points by the number of parts and the number increases exponentially. A guy in the Stanford math program (Dexter Gannon) did the math on an x-spreadsheet.

  • @Ratboy8888

... It takes a guy from Stanford to do some multiplication...?

  • @Ratboy8888

What's the point in "what's theoretically possible" if still no one explores the possibilities. What if only "math-nerds" see the beauty in the ubersticks and all others prefer rectangular bricks - Lego is easier on your mind - and basically a no-brainer. That's why it's so popular - mor possibilities mean more dimensions to think in - that's not what people are looking for - they like it rather "flat" if you will.

  • @Ratboy8888 First of all, there's no documentation of a "dexter gannon" doing any research for stanford anywhere. Second of all, your made up math is ridiculous. there's nothing exponential about uberstix connections. It's basic math. 8 pieces x 2 (ends of the pieces) x connection points. That's it. Since they can only connect at their ends it isn't even a riemann sum. Stop lying about your hobby and using pseudomathematics to back yourself up. Some of us actually know math.

  • @therealfactor

OK... the Pirate-Stix by itself has 54 connection points, the math is real and here is how it works: Part 1 - 54 connections X Part 2 -36 connections = 1944 X Part 3 - 43 connections = 83,592 X Part 4 - 46 connections = 3,845,232... now continue the process for the rest of the parts and then reduce for redundancy and you have approximately 125,000,000,000,000,000 possibilities. P.S. Dexter Gannon did study math at Stanford.

  • i like them their friends

  • i like how there recycled, and how they have such a simple design that is yet complex to make crazy cool things, very good idea, i like them

  • Lego mates with duplo!

  • What type of platsic is it excatly, and also what is the dye used to colour the plastic?

  • Lego's win. Simple

  • Holy fukin' shit man, like wow dude. I have got to find me some of those Uberstix!

  • Wow, you are incredibly stupid. Scrap plastic means it's recycled from old plastic, which Legos are not. And you can play with ANY building toy at ANY age. Also, learn to spell. Just because you're on the internet doesn't mean yu shud spel liek dis.

  • at least now you know who is drving this planet into a hot foggy hell...

  • @sonik67 this is an old coment but i;ll reply anyway :P. I know i dont need 2, i just want 2. :D

  • @sonik67 AMEN man... i hate it when people spell like that...gets on my freakin nerves...

  • uberstix is better... uberstix have the same shape, but at lego u need other shapes to do something, and so the price is higher at lego, but at uberstix is the same...(it's my opinion)

  • also, lego is more popular then uberstix...

  • a frie have this , its oool indeed a do a dismontable gun *nonshuting * with 2 ammo packs 1 stock and a silenser , i was goping to do a sight but i dident got time XD

  • UBERSTIX owns

  • where all can i get uberstix? does it have a site? about how much does a standard kit cost?

  • I went on the website and a starter kit is about 50 USD.

  • but at my nearby hobby lobby you can get ten pieces in a set for $1.50

  • its a really cool video but arent u a little old to be playing with lego and uberstix

  • First of all you are never to old to play uberstix and secondly, I design build kits and toys for uberstix...I may have the coolest job in the world...

  • yes you have the coolest job in the world! This is awsome!!

  • Man, I envy you...

  • damn! you do!

  • yea i recon this i great i heard about them working with kenex but not lego thanks

  • so uberstix is made of recycled plastic

guess what? legos are made from ABS plastic, you know the stuff used on assult rifles like the M16. and we all know the M16 is a tough weapon. tells some thing doesn't it?

  • their using recycled plastic for a reason...it's better for the environment...think of the environment before you speak "OMG LEGO PLASTIC ARE SO MUCH BETTER!! YADA...YADA...YADA"

  • And ABS plastic is big, thick, and just makes our pollution problem worse. There's no point of using so much plastic for a child's toy. But, you know, who gives a crap about the world anyway?

  • Yes, it does tell something! LEGO can be associated with guns! It's bad! (Sorry about using such crude logic, but I guess the same can be sad for your own.)

  • Legos are better

  • well sure, but ther e also much more expensive and use and waste more plastic in production. uber stix both have ups and down points

  • you got some tight vids! very creative, i love it!

  • Wow thats cool, and who cares if it cant blend with lincon logs there not near as fun as lego for that matter.

  • Awesome, but i still think that it is a bit difficult to transfer what you think onto those strange looking pieces...

  • im sold, where do i get these bad boys?!!!!

  • Any good toy or hobby store...that's where I got mine!

  • i got mine at toy kingdom XD lol

  • mate with knex too

  • I bet it doesn't mate with CLINTON LOGS! Lol

  • Ah...OK...I'm at a loss...what are CLINTON LOGS? What ever they are, Uberstix will mate with them.

  • pretty sure that was supposed to be a joke about ex-pres clinton and interns...

  • why would you want to mate lincon logs with uberstix, or... anything

clinton logs r just little peices of wood with indents in them that allow you to stack another clinton log onto it... they are like mini 2 by 4s in inches. and would not mate with uberstixs unless you wrapped them around one of the logs. I said lincon logs because thats the same thing as clinton logs..

  • cool

  • LOL never heard about any 'Uberstix'. really...

  • man who did not grow up! :D

  • Wow very cool. Only contention I have is that lego has an action figure and as far as I can see, Uberstix doesn't...yet. I love that when you build something it actually functions though.

  • Yes if you are the first to name them and if you are correct. We will check out this Brio system of yours and report back to you...good luck..sort of.

  • Oh, I get it. All the structures you showed in this demo is possible to build using Lego only but not usning only those sticks?

  • Yes, Uberstix mate with all other build systems including Lego, Knex, Erector, etc... If you find a build system that Uberstix doesn't mate with, we will send you a free set.

  • BRIO Builder system

I have 7 more from the top of my head, do I get one set for each?

  • I don't think it would mate with Tinkertoys, would it?

  • free set huh?

    what about linclon logs?

  • I'm going to build something amazing using Uberstix, Lego's and Knex!!!!!

  • lol nice, show us how to make a computer next time

  • Wow, this is the perfect thing to breathe life into my old legos! Where can I get Uberstix?

  • hah

  • cool Make A Hlloween Movie!
