  • nice job...

  • Can you get a good jazzy tone off of it?

  • @KaRmOdAgUrU when you say a 'jazzy tone', I'm guessing you mean a clean tone yeah? yes you can get pretty much any tone you can think of to be honest. Of course a good jazz tone often depends on the type of guitar you use as well. Regards

  • @opilus Ok. Thanks a lot I need this mainly to record backing tracks to play along with. Do you think this is good for me?

  • @KaRmOdAgUrU Keep in mind that the UX2 allows you to get a good guitar and bass tone, but if you want to make a good drum track and add some keys to your backing tracks you will need to add some other plugins to use with the DAW. Hope that helps

  • Great phrasing!

  • btw did you use pod farm in this one or did you mic your guitar amp?

  • @Xiacro its a PODfarm tone.. maybe one day I'll buy a mic and mic up my amp

  • @opilus thanks for a quick response! i have an Audix i5 mic myself but i actually like the POD farm sounds better than my guitar amp's sounds :D

  • @Xiacro Yeh they are good tones.. but I still prefer a cranked valve amp any day :D

  • @opilus Why bother man this sounds incredible lol. Amazing playing too =)

  • i like the tone! ordered my ux2 this monday from germany and UPS delieveryservice should bring it to my front door any minute now :P can't wait!

  • Cool note choices, i personally prefer picking most lines, rather than legato... but very coolio!

  • great but too much reverb

  • @changoland yeh i agree, ive recently upgraded my monitors and its really ringing through now.. PC speakers do not do this thing justice..

  • I recorded all of my band's songs with Line 6 ux2, take a look at the sound quality. Myspace dot com cloudsovernormandy

  • @Julome Sick Band =)

  • how you recorded de bass guitar??

  • @jcstrings the ony thing i recorded on this track was the solo over the top.. you can find the backing track at the link in the description..

  • @opilus oh ok thanks!.... The thing is that im trying to find a good interface preamp, that gives enough power and quality for a bass guitar. If you know one that could work, just let me know.. Thanks alot...

  • @jcstrings i do play a little bass (im not very good though!) as far as i can tell, it seems to have a decent sound for it.. but i play a really battered squire bass so it aint really a great reference.. ill put some bass sounds up tmrw so you can hear it..

  • @opilus ufff.... great man, I will appreciate it alot!!! Have a good Night!!!

  • @jcstrings ok i've posted some of the bass tones..

  • how you recorded the bass guitar???

  • very nice! please tell me how to get a kick like that , it sounds so damn good

  • @hideki12345 kick? do you mean the kick drum? I couldn't tell you I'm afraid! its not my creation, i only played the solo over the top of the backing track.. theres a link to the track in the description though, maybe you could find out there somehow?

    Regards - OPILUS

  • footprints, nice!!!

  • @emanu0675 ha ha never noticed that!! lol

  • Dude you are an incredible guitarist!!! I love doing jam track vids. I have one on my page if you would like to check it out. Also I am curious what amp and settings you are using on the toneport for the sound. Thats a nice sound.

  • is it too much to ask for ur settings or the *.l6t file? I have a UX2 Too.... Just want to disscard if its my guitar which I need to change

  • Great sound greater perform...

Did u get any extra sound package?

    Or just regular sounds?

    Special Humbuckers? anything?

Dude ur guitar sounds great is it just the toneport?

  • thanks!! it's just the standard UX2 studio with the most basic package of PODfarm. the guitar is the one shown.. stock ibanez pickups (powersounds i think..).

This was recorded with just the toneport, no extra equipment... the backing track was put into ableton as a WAV file then i recorded a solo over the top.. i created my own custom tone to get that sound..

  • Great playing.

  • Wow, great feeling. Nice tone, very good solo. Five stars. Love to hear more.
