And the UN stepped in for the ceasefire. Egypt never asked them for anything. Funny how the west "forgets" to bring that up when they discuss the war

You left out the part where a few days later the entire Egyptian army was destroyed and there were six Arab country's attacked ISRAEL all at the same time. The IDF was busy in the north the first few days killing Arabs there But once Jerusalem and Tel Aviv was safe ISRAELS IDF made short work of the Egyptian Army's Egypt NEVER stood any kind of a chance at all
