I have frequented the Surrey Hills for more than 30 years and in the past 20 have used Infrared & Visible EM technologies as well as optical and audio,and yet have never to date found any strange event that was not explained in a few words....so until I record, photograph,video or indeed See with Optical or the naked eye,I will remain a skeptic.Not that your video may have something untoward,but as I was not there,They do look very much like Lanterns.

I also live in surrey and have seen the exact same things around 1 month ago, orange and very high up there was three and followed each other, i tried to get footage but failed due to the camera quality, my brother also saw the same a few weeks before my sighting, they were exactly the same as this! All in the surrey/west sussex area!

Yeah, I'm positive. I was living in Guildford for a while last year and it was probably about this time last year Feb/March -ish that I saw them. They do look other worldly at first glance, but alas, they're only lanterns. A few locals told me that they're common to the area.

On August 15, 2009 I was driving south of Newport, OR at about 10:30 PM. I saw 5 or 6 reddish orange lights in the sky. At first I thought they were house lights, but realized that there were no houses where I was looking, in fact they were over the ocean. Next I thought they were flares, but they were moving north to south, I stopped and watched, they were silent and moved in a continuous line, some fading out & more appearing. I later spoke to someone who had watched them for 20 minutes.
@inexplicata. With the greatest of respect, what is filmed there is exactly like what I saw, over guildford, with my own eyes in march of this year. They are Chinese lanterns. People did have them in 2007, you have the video proof right there.
This particular footage made worldwide news at the time; all sorts of experts examined it and were left baffled; not one single person cited Chinese lanterns as a likely cause..why?
These things are red for a start...(not orange), they suddenly just appear from nowhere, (not drift into view as with cl's), there is no flickering candle in these objects..they hold tight and accurate formation without drifting; Chinese lanterns were not a national UK phenomenon until sometime later.

I have just seen this tonight with my house mate!!!!!! It was as clear as day!! Honestly, exactly the same as this, you wouldn't believe it! I tried to take photos but they are a bit blurred. There are orange street lamps at horizon level..but these red objects appear in the sky on the video, suddenly; first as a line of lights then as a triangle, then disappear.

I saw similar last night 22 April 2009 about 10:15pm northumberland. It was weird and hence me looking it up and finding this great video. Almost same as video silver/redish lights two of them, one stationary the other moved across the sky and they joined into one. Was a slightly larger silver one to the east of these which moved slowly now and again. Was more of a fluid movement to it Not straight like planes. Same weird rumble could be heard sometimes but not sure it was related to this.

I live in guildford and a couple of years ago i was sitting on a bench in the park on a summers day with a m8 and we heard the deepest loudest sound ever that was definately coming from the skies. it sounded like it was miles up but there where no planes or anything in sight it sounded like nothing i had ever heard. it was like a million speakers where miles high pumping out a weird bass sound. i am not stupid and i know what planes sound like and it was nothing like it.
I've heard it here in Sweden aswell. It sounded something like this: "BUUURRRRRRRRRRRR...." Like vibes, yeah something like that. Bass and vibes, like a bigass engine far away. There have also been two big freaking bangs in Malmo here lately and nobody really knows what it is. They say it was lightning but people don't believe it, neither do I. Earthquakes aswell, here in Sweden. It's very, very (VERY!) rare! I think all in all, it feels like something is going on, something unusual.

Would be nice to see the position you were filming in daylight, from the same elevation to rule out the posibility of there being a hill in the distance. Adding a daytime still at the end of the video showing the lamp posts in the same position would give it more credibility... In my opinion. If those lights are indeed in the sky, i say.... Absolutely brilliant detective work Carbs101: I think you could well be right about many of these ufos being some kind of government/military black budget holograms designed to deceive us all; I recommend everyone study this Project Blue Beam material.
There is only one sticking point though: I, (along with numerous other witnesses), have actually asked out loud or mentally for these orbs to appear, and now and again they do...sometimes instantly to the eye, other times they appear only on camera although nothing was visible at the time of shooting.

It's very easy for people to created hoaxes like these. They are just flares tied to helium balloons. Similar lights were seen over phoenix last week and a guy was caught doing this.

Nonsense - no way are these military flares. These objects display both internal structure and regular period energy pulsations. Not to mention remaining stationary and holding formation. Flares would also of course fall to the ground under the influence of gravity, which these objects show no signs of doing.

Hey there, i have been looking for a video like this for a long time, because i saw a very similar thing over Truro in Cornwall, except there were about 7 or 8 lights hanging over moving very slowly, i tried to take a picture but my camera is not the best at taking photos at night so i didn't get anything which i was deeply disappointed about! I've seen 2 black triangles in Guildford and 1 classic silver shaped ufo in broad daylight. The silver ufo had windows which looked like they were moving like spokes on a wheel. It was a beautiful craft. The black triangles were extremely fast and reached london in the distance in a matter of seconds. They also made no sound whatsoever. I remember driving once, to swim practice. it was about 4:30 in the morning. There were no cars on the road but me. MY friends was sitting in the passenger seat. I had never been this startled in my life. A large white light appeared in the sky, i could see it through my windshield. It went down then dissapeared. but it did not fall to the ground, it just sunk then dissapeared. it was really freaky.

We saw some very bright orange orbs in the sky at the top of the a3 yesterday on our way back to Portsmouth. Having looked on the web they were at the location of the old airfield at Ockham Common. They were perfectly still in triangular formations. There were about 20-30 of them and they arched back over the trees as if on a cable between two pylons. They were very very bright, they did not flicker at all & were very still. They were not floating or drifting as Chinese lanterns would.

I have just seen this tonight with my house mate!!!!!! It was as clear as day!! Honestly, exactly the same as this, you wouldn't believe it! I tried to take photos but they are a bit blurred. I couldn't believe it, i just searched guilford ufo and found this and this is what we saw. Orange lights in a formation! very cool.

There are orange street lamps at horizon level..but these red objects appear in the sky on the video, suddenly; first as a line of lights then as a triangle, then disappear.
Chinese lanterns would drift into view, not suddenly appear in front of your eyes up in the sky.
Obviously I am wasting my time on someone simply intent on arguing, and so obviously brainwashed by what they read in the media.
Sure, every ufo is Chinese lanterns...go back to sleep.

I saw similar last night 22 April 2009 about 10:15pm northumberland. It was weird and hence me looking it up and finding this great video. Almost same as video silver/redish lights two of them, one stationary the other moved across the sky and they joined into one. Was a slightly larger silver one to the east of these which moved slowly now and again. Was more of a fluid movement to it Not straight like planes. Same weird rumble could be heard sometimes but not sure it was related to this.

I live in guildford and a couple of years ago i was sitting on a bench in the park on a summers day with a m8 and we heard the deepest loudest sound ever that was definately coming from the skies. it sounded like it was miles up but there where no planes or anything in sight it sounded like nothing i had ever heard. it was like a million speakers where miles high pumping out a weird bass sound. i am not stupid and i know what planes sound like and it was nothing like it.

I've heard it here in Sweden aswell. It sounded something like this: "BUUURRRRRRRRRRRR...." Like vibes, yeah something like that. Bass and vibes, like a bigass engine far away. There have also been two big freaking bangs in Malmo here lately and nobody really knows what it is. They say it was lightning but people don't believe it, neither do I. Earthquakes aswell, here in Sweden. It's very, very (VERY!) rare! I think all in all, it feels like something is going on, something unusual.

Would be nice to see the position you were filming in daylight, from the same elevation to rule out the posibility of there being a hill in the distance. Adding a daytime still at the end of the video showing the lamp posts in the same position would give it more credibility... In my opinion. If those lights are indeed in the sky, i say.... Nice footage man :)

There is only one sticking point though: I, (along with numerous other witnesses), have actually asked out loud or mentally for these orbs to appear, and now and again they do...sometimes instantly to the eye, other times they appear only on camera although nothing was visible at the time of shooting.

Nonsense - no way are these military flares. These objects display both internal structure and regular period energy pulsations. Not to mention remaining stationary and holding formation. Flares would also of course fall to the ground under the influence of gravity, which these objects show no signs of doing.

Hey there, i have been looking for a video like this for a long time, because i saw a very similar thing over Truro in Cornwall, except there were about 7 or 8 lights hanging over moving very slowly, i tried to take a picture but my camera is not the best at taking photos at night so i didn't get anything which i was deeply disappointed about! I've seen 2 black triangles in Guildford and 1 classic silver shaped ufo in broad daylight. The silver ufo had windows which looked like they were moving like spokes on a wheel. It was a beautiful craft. The black triangles were extremely fast and reached london in the distance in a matter of seconds. They also made no sound whatsoever. To start with, I am a massive skeptic on things like UFO's etc... But the same month in 2007, me and three friends saw this exact same style of UFO hovering over ilford, london. to start with we just thought it was lights in the town center, until a mate on the other side of town rings us up and describes what we saw and what you all see in the video.

Satellites do burn up and you often get debris from meteors entering the earths atmosphere. There is an asteroid belt around sun.
