Keratin coated hair wants heat applied to it :) It helps the keratin last. Especially right after you get it applied and you are waiting to wash it out, that is the most essential time to use a straightener during that time. My stylist told me the more we use the flat iron during that waiting period the stronger the keratin will be and last on our hair :) If you don't straighten it during that wait period, mine as well wash it out :)
