1) get all the people that are non infected i can find

2) raid all the shops and hardware stores for supplies,guns, and ammo

3)make a homebase at a giant jail

4)sleep in the jail cells so zombies can't eat me and my survivors' brains

5) make a giant tank like vehicle with 5" thick steel plating with barbwire electric fences on and giant spikes on the front with ginormous machine guns on it

6)raid towns until i make it to the coast and find a boat to travel to Hawaii and reproduce and survive!

@PaulHark9 Actually Alaska would be better, because what if the virus becomes airborn, it can also be spread through insects and rodents, in Alaska you won't have to worry about any of that, the air would be too cold for a virus to surive and there is no worry of insects either.

@mikewmccann Actually, the zombie virus (Solanum) only infects humans, and would only be transmitted by bites or zombie body fluids entering your body.

Plus, Hawaii would be a bad location for several reasons:

-Large population

---Infection spreads quicker

---More zombies

-Zombies CAN survive and operate underwater, so they'd get there eventually.

@dabeast711 Exactly that is why Alaska is better, it is easy to move through tropical waters, but harder to travel on land or by water toward Alaska, because as Grif said Zombies have no body heat and will freeze like corpsicles, before they even get close.

@mechinater Ironically, that's the only one of Sarge's plans that'd actually work, albeit with a different outcome than survival. Zombies won't go for already dead meat, they like it (as Gollum says about his fish) "raw and wriggling."

One of the several reasons that a Graveyard is usually zombie-free.

@tommyblundell1122 That's a Hollywood myth that's been placed in pretty much every zombie movie ever made. Since a zombie can only infect living people (the virus doesn't affect an already dead brain), and the virus takes hold within a few hours, any infections will take place LONG before burial.

And remember, although zombies may seem out of this world, they're still only human bodies. Can YOU break out from under 6 feet of dirt and a wooden box? Didn't think so ;)

Pre-apocalypse:

Find out way of finding out the exact moment of first infection.

After first infection:

1) Buy a few hunting rifles/shotguns and pistols with ammunition along with enough food to last a few weeks

2) Go to Wyoming/Colorado

3) Build a defensive shelter on lower mountains

4) Live off the land until zombies decompose

However... I don't have a set amount of ammo I will grab. or any specific gun. but I will get as many as I can hold.
