The company sells a 3m mounting kit for those who don't want to do Any drilling. I have to replace my front bumper first so I am waiting until then to do it.right now I'm working on getting my Arden wheels.
Awesome, I will look onto that. I got to get a European license plate for the front.I just got one yet I haven't out it though. Mine is custom made, real authentic European plate. I got seals for it as well.

Well, I was looking at the Arden performance handling set at Mina . I may either get the set or just start with the springs. The springs for the x type is $499 and the set is about $1,200. But they go hand in hand so there is that dilemma. But with me first things first. That's to get my performance complete. I do love the 2008 growl grill. Which will be next on my list.

I found one and got it, sorry I do appreciate your help. Do you have aftermarket shocks and springs on yours? After my exhaust that's what I will upgrade next.

Awesome I had been leaning toward this exhaust once I saw the video and now I have made up my mind.I have a Gold 03 2.5l X type. I bought it in 07 and now I am starting to wanting to add upgrades to it.
@countjeffreyallan I have different exhaust tips on mine than what they will give you. When I bought them I requested from them that I have oval tips. You can do the same, but even if you dont the one's they give you still look awesome. The sound is truly awesome. It's not too loud when cruising, but when you floor it, it really does have a nice loud growl. The next step is getting an intake system. I have video's of that on youtube as well.
So this is the Mina exhaust? If so then I might get it. I have been thinking of the Arden or borla . More so on the Arden because of their reputation and being a European company which I would like to stick to. Arden are expensive though

It was 489.50 for the exhaust. And yes, there are a few upgrades on this car (and I have them all). I have an SLR performance chip which helped in mid range power. I also have a cold air intake system. I actually sell the cold air intake systems for 120 plus shipping.
I used an SLR Performance chip. It was about $60. Yes I could tell a change, not like a Huge change, but enough of one. I think it was a good mid range power increase. It helped with mileage maybe by 1 or 2 mpg. Nothing amazing.
Does Arden make a chip???? I saw they make an ECU, but thats only for the desel. Yah, I can tell a difference in the chip. Nothing huge, but you can feel it. If arden makes a chip, I would get Arden. I didnt know they made one...

I dont think it will give 23 hp to the x-type. All it will do is change the fuel to air ratio. It will make more like 10 hp and like 8 lbs ft. of torque. And yah, like 1 or 2 mpg better.
They website and everyone on the board is claiming like 23hp or so for the x-types (they are car-specific chips), but I've also just heard that they cost like $1000 american dollars lol. Screw that.
I dont know if they have dynoed their cars. I'm still trying to research the Arden. But I would assume from all the rave they receive that they are actually pretty good.

What kind of chip and how much was it? You could tell a performance difference? Did it help with mileage too?

I used an SLR Performance chip. It was about $60. Yes I could tell a change, not like a Huge change, but enough of one. I think it was a good mid range power increase. It helped with mileage maybe by 1 or 2 mpg. Nothing amazing.
