If you want to have and interview then ask some questions and/or comment the answers/ideas you are hearing but stop that anoying noises! By the way, for what I can tell you have no idea what politeness mean don't you? In what kind of ghetto where you raised? Watch your mounth! - - And by the way if you want to tell me this is politeness for you Japanese I habe seen other "good" interviews!

It is related to Japanese politeness etiquette.

It's normal for Japanese to actively take part in the conversation by affirming or (usually rethorically) questioning almost everything said.

Even if you don't understand Japanese, watch a few interviews, and you'll notice that when someone is explaining something, the listener will always say the same few short words about every 3 seconds.
