I wouldn't know how to stereotype a Brit anyways, and most people wouldn't know what a derby hat is either! After all, no sane person wears stuff like that anymore. Of course you can't call Jack the Ripper sane, and because of his insanity he'll surely never be forgotten. Ironic isn't it? Hope no one like that ever pops up again. Then again...I'm not even saying it. It sounds too damn cruel...
