@HORRIOR Totally agreed. Truly's my favorite third man for that reason. He and Foggy were the only third men I really liked; I never really saw Cyril, and Seymour was a pompous twit.
It's sad Bill Owen's best friend Kathy Staff has died too only recently. I heard that the producers actually axed Nora Batty out of the Last of the Summer Wine programme so I do actually wonder whether the BBC will make another series. I hope they do.

I believe she left at first because she felt the show wouldn't be the same without him. It sad that most of the icons of the show are now gone.
