Can his EMP gimmick be activate in vehicle mode? I don't think it can despite some source states that it's possible, the design space for EMP to fit actually pervent the 2 cannons to pop out, so I'm think the EMP can't be activated in car mode...unless modification or customize...but can someone make sure for me, I try many time but I don't think it will work?

Yea, I know that; but there is no way to activate the EMP in car mode, without remove it from the car hood 1st & activate it manually by click that little spot on the bottom then put it back on the car, right

i believe your problem on ratchet is only on the earlier models. to qoute transformers wikia "Early releases of the Ratchet toy had the peg slightly too long, forcing the EMP to pop out of the socket. Later releases (basically most everything beyond the original "test market" release) had a shorter peg, allowing the EMP to clip in just fine."

The hip joints are a tad loose, but that's nothing a layer of clear nail polish can't fix.

As for Blazing Lockdown, there really isn't much of a difference other than a newer paint job and the chainsaw. I plan to buy him, though, so I can have regular Lockdown wield both the hook and chainsaw like in the series, while Ratchet will carry the extra EMP Generator.

well umm ok see my problem was getting him into veichle mode if u have problems getting that giant peices with his back windows to go dow turn bumblebee upside down and if u see the yellow stick push that triggers the trunk to go up then u get that peice to go down

if you turn him upside down you will see a yellow mechanisim press it up and then the trunk thing will go up letting you push the body upside down

I think he's one of the best value for a deluxe class...he's taller than Voyager class, wicked cool muscle car, and a weapon that can fit into Ratchet (with a little modification... XD)

I couldn't help but notice something : Doesn't Lockdown's car mode bear a resemblance to the Pursuit Special from the movie Mad Max? Also, a friend of mine commented that LockDown's face seems to have been modeled after actor Lance Henriksen's face (Henriksen is the voice of Lockdown).

My Lockdown has a few scratches in the paint but hes still awesome. I wish you didn't have to mod the hands at all, they look really bad the way they come out of the box. I also wish the chest piece snapped in better after you flip his head out. Maybe it's supposed to but mine doesn't snap in firmly.

OH NO! I was modifying Lokdown wrong! I wore down the peices that PREVENT the hands from folding out, not the hands themselves! Oh well. They still don't flip out all the way, but it still make little difference.

An hour! When i got him i transformed lockdown perferfectly on the first try.

It took me almost an hour to transform him properly last night when I bought him. The legs always get me. This next to Blackarachnia are my favorite.

to the person that said he is Leader, that is incorrect. Lockdown is a Deluxe figure. So far there are only three leader figures. Also lockdown is a car, it wouldn't make sense for him to be a leader class.

My Ratchet would not hold the EMP generator and so I clipped the peg (actually, I 'shaved' it down) and it still wouldn't sit in. I kept going but it got to the point where the peg is no longer there hardly as it wouldn't stay in otherwise it seems.

Actually it kinda can.

He can't mount it on his arm obviously, but you can actually place it in one of his hands.

Hard to explain but put the black portion of the EMP between prowls fingers and thumb and you'll have fairly snug fit (though it's pointed at a awkward angle)

Try putting a small square of scotch tape on the ball joint and snapping the leg on over it. Tightens it right up with doing anything potentially damaging.
