It's amazing that Emma actually won the battle when it comes to sword skills, but well, the Conqueror has this stupid strength and can parry swords with his bare hands.

Not really sure if having a stronger weapon would guarantee they'll take it. But 1 thing's for sure, they upgrade their own weapon depending on what you choose them to focus on.

@mLegion I don't think that when you are playing the game, when you "die" they aren't really dead. They are just knocked out. When all of your party members become knocked out...there is no hope for them and that's when they die (whatever you are fighting finishes them off without you seeing). When a character actually dies...like in a cutscene...there's no coming back. That's the only sense I've made out of ingame and cutscene "deaths".

I have the PC version of this game, and they have a Japanese language option. I have it switched on Japanese, and the Japanese voices are better imo. They pronounce it similar to the regular way you say David, I think. They call Lord David: Davido-sama (the "o" being part of the Japanese accent, sama being an honorific). Also: it's funny to note that even in Japanese there's some English spoken by the four generals, they all say: "Yes my Lord," in plain English.
