  • Hey nice video I'm a volunteer in McHenry Mississippi and its been 6 long years and i love it keep up the great work

  • I am an emt and currently going through firefighter 1. I am a daughter and granddaughter of two Washington DC firefighters that give me the encouragement to keep going further in this career. so far I have loved and hated it all but fear isnt going to stop me yet. this is a wonderful song and video and is very well put together. it makes me feel like I can keep going and be able to measure up to my father and grandfather.

  • song: yellowcard - believe

  • I believe all police funding for every part of law enforcement not related to violent crimes should be given to EMTs and firefighters.

  • I just joined a fire company and am getting ready to go through the EMT training, its good to see there are people who appreciate the sacrifices of those who gave their lives for complete strangers.

  • thanks bro for the video it means alot that you take your time to do t6his for ppl like us and whoever is critizing the viedo i want them to come livge a day with us giving up time with our family freinds and our pagers going off at all hours of the day we give up sleep family time freinds dates everything so until u knw wat ur critizing u need to shut up

  • whats the name of the song that gos to this vid?

  • Don't really like Yellowcard but, it does sound like maybe the song was written about Firefighters. So, good choice.

  • i owe my life to these ppl after having a bad ATV accident. ill never forget the firefighter/emt that helped me out

-Thanks James, Gwinnett county Fire dept

  • Makes it all worth it to go out there! Thanks!! :)

  • Air goes in and out. Blood goes round and round. Any variation of the and you have a problem :)

That's what my EMT wife told me when I first started my training.

    Ron - Advanced Care Paramedic

  • I am an emt-b and just for the record this song put tears in my eyes.

  • the job can be thankless, the hours can be long, and you will meet people on the worst days of their lives, but we train, we practice and we are good at what we do so we can do our best to keep the worst day from being their last

  • Thank you!

  • cool dedication to firefighters and emts it reallyh rocks

  • Check out 911bullshit . blog . com

  • how about you shut he fuck up maybe u should be thankful and instead of critziing others look at your life cuz i too am a firefighter/ emt , by the way whats the name of the song

  • Its Believe by Yellowcard

  • I am a fourth generation firemen right nnow though im only 16 ive seen alot growing up around the station. Great video . God bless all my borothers and sister that risk there lifes for the greater good.

  • you are 4th generation? when u get hired have your old man pin your badge on you. I am 3rd generation and it is a very special day once you graduate the fire academy! good luck kid!

  • they are not all fake, some are obviously from training but others aren't I was personally at a few of those fires and MVAs

  • @EMTBC If its so stupid and fake then why are you on this page...keep ur negative thoughts to your self.....

  • Josh Hackney, EMT-I, Medic in training, and I could not agree with EMTi99JH more...when I was doing clincals I had someone telling me what to do...when I got my first critcal call, honestly it was an eye opener, your instructor can teach you everything you need to know, but when it is just you in the back of the truck with a patient who is a full code then you see what it is all about, then try remembering everything you have learned, it a different world out there, be safe brothers...

  • amen. Brad savage, Paramedic in training. Once you've practiced your skills enough it comes to you without thinking about it. I'm fixing to be a fire fighter paramedic in a month so this is kind of comforting. thanks brother and God bless.

  • LOL make sure you remember to throw your paramedic books out the ambulance door once you start! The book helps you understand the overall picture. Once you get out there it is all your training, book smarts, but most important; your street smarts and patient care (bed side manner) be nice to everyone! Good Luck. who do you work for kishkinet?

  • GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!

  • Lol. Jonny, the clinicals are nothing like the real thing. Sure you ride third party... but wait till your first call when your with your partner and noone there to tell you what to do. :P I remember when I got my EMT-I it was fun. YAY IV'S! heh. Critical Care Paramedic now. Goodluck.

  • Thanks, bro. I figure I've got a long road full of surprises and "...how did that get there?"s ahead of me, certainly no shortage of ways people can end up hurt, you know? I can only hope I'm actually as well prepared as I think I am. Anyway, take care out there.

  • hey love the video it's really awesome , i'm also a volunteer firefighter for new jersey and doing what we do is really amazing i love going to every call it makes me feel great like i accomplished something but helping out by saving someones life i love being a firefighter

  • EMT-I in training, here. I've already got my clinicals mostly done, so I've got a decent idea of what it's like out there. A video like this is much appreciated.

  • thanks

  • @Jonnytestosterone 15 and wanting to be a paramedic whats the training like

  • @jalen77232 its going to be 11 months of hell in the program im in i only have about 9 months to go so its still in the beginning of it. but its good to hear that there is younger people who want to do this. im the youngest one in my paramedic class. im 18 almost 19 and it will be the most rewarding thing i do in life. if you are interested you should look into your states emt and how old you need to be to certified. i got my emt when i turned 17

  • who sings this song? I am a emt firefighter and love it!!!

  • yellowcard the song is believe

  • dude really good vid, im also and emt and firefighter and this shows what we good through, i really like how u put in both ems and fire into it

  • @spartantrack how do you become an EMT ???

  • @paulinski4 check with you local community college they normally have EMT-B or EMT-P or if your city/town hasa career center check there. another thing you could do it ask you local fire station where you could to school for EMT training.
