Putting aside the unprofessional use of the word 'cops' in an official ad for the mayor, it is simply not true to say there are more officers, and Kitty is putting politics before Eugene and the safety of this community by claiming this as truth. Officers have been hired, but more have left the department and for her to say that there are "more cops on the beat" is just wrong, and it has no business being in this ad.
