i saw one of the worst crashes i've ever seen in my life at this speedway back in the early 1990's. i think his name was ellingsworth from evansville, in. his sponsor was jasper engines (remanufactured junk). their used to be a guard rail on the back stretch. it gave way and he hit the concrete barrier in turn 3 head on. the barrier was where the gear box used to be. they had to delay the arca race to make repairs. anyone remember?

lol those ARCA drivers never cease to amaze me. The idea of slowing down for a wreck does not seem to be an option to them

you forgot to mention Bean finished 3rd!
This was a hard wreck.. Hessert has had a few big wrecks this year along with Pocono this was on of his harder wrecks.
