This made me laugh & cry at the same time.

At least when I was a kid, I wasn't in any hurry to grow up. Everyone else "couldn't wait" to be older so they could do this & do that, but I always thought, what's the rush? When I get old I'll probably wish I appreciated every day as a kid. And I do.

Like the Buddha taught, all you ever have is the NOW. Suffering comes from worry over the past, which you can't change, & worry over the future, which you can't anticipate. Live in the now.

Carlin was (and still is) the best... First part is his, for other I'm not sure, but whatever and whoever wrote second part, this is video that should be played in every classroom, office or public event for every people. Every tv program should begin and end with this video and every day everyone should repeat this to themselfs at least 3 times per day! Memorize it!

i miss geoge so much! who could take his place? i am 51 and i think--oh my i'll never live to be 102. if i did the rest of my family would probably be gone--and i would be lonely as hell. for you young people out there--make the most of your life. take a vacation every time you get the chance to do so. fuck retirement--my folks have the money to go any place they want--but they just want to sit home on the couch--to afraid to go anywhere fun. i may be broke--but i took like 6 vacations a year.
