  • Since it is a curve and he would already have finished targeting the cars ahead by the time you would be near the laser scatter, chances are really low. If it was instant on radar, due to the wide radar beam you would get it guarenteed

  • I think he would have gotten you if you were speeding.....

  • Those cars were pretty far ahead of you, if they were 100-200 feet then chances would have been there.. but not that far away.

  • Rowan, Valentine research states that with the v3.872 software that laser scatter signals can be detected at 1320 ft which is a quarter mile. You can't tell in my video because it's hard to see, but those cars were actually about a quarter mile ahead. What added to the decreased sensitivity was the curve right before the officer.

  • I didnt say it wasnt possible, I just stated that your chances are quite low, and yes the curve also doesnt help.
