The M14 is definitely the best gun in BC2:V IMO. Contrary to what people say and real life, the gun is extremely controllable even for long range (at least for me). I think I'm the only one out of my whole friends list that doesn't hate it.
@WhackedMaki2 That makes me happy to know, since I consider the reloading after every kill a Bad habit. it's good for me to see that on occasion I don't give in to that disadvantageous OCD that plagues quite a lot of hardcore gamers.
@TheRealSavitar You ran out of bullets in the clip and had to switch to your pistol to kill the guy though. If he had been shooting at you you probably would have died, so maybe it's not a bad thing to reload often.
@WhackedMaki2 definitely not a bad thing to reload 'often'. But the OCD reload syndrom I'm talking about is too extensive. Its hard to break the habit and often causes death because you kill one person then immediately hit reload only to be killed because a second guy runs round the corner and nails you even though you had enough bullets to take him out had you not chosen to reload in the first place.
actually the Argentinans used the FN FAL not the M14 during the Faulklands conflict

@MegaMonkeyChunk Same here, man. Definitely my favorite of the AR class in the Vietnam expansion.

definitely a nice gun, however its useles for long range because its redeicoulus recoil. Prefer the other assault rifles

@bewati1 pretty much, that's why I stated only using the m14 for rushing because at close range it's brilliant and packs the most punch

"After every kill I reload" is being said as you walk around with 9 bullets in a clip right after killing a guy. I at least found this funny.
I have never used an M1 Grand because I'm not a battlefield veteran, so I don't have it.
