Lego is built with compression joints and you can build amazing creations with them and the 3500+ parts they make. A benefit of a simple compression joint is that it comes apart easy, which can be a drawback. Uberstix is built with tension & compression and has 8 parts that build boats that float and sail, planes that fly 100 ft. etc... Uberstix mate with Lego and every other build system, which opens a world of possibilities. To be clear, I'm a Lego fan, but why not explore?

Thermal expansion (and contraction) must be taken into account when designing products with close tolerance fits as these tolerances will change as temperature changes if the materials used in the design have different coefficients of thermal expansion. make use of the property of linear expansion.

Yes you can. Energy drinks have an absurd amount of caffeine and other stimulants. Somebody sensitive to caffeine can easily overdose. I've had a severe episode (damn near heart attack) from too much rockstar. My heart sped up over 100bpm and it was pounding extremely hard. This being while sitting down an hour prior.

I drank 2 of the largest sized ones (the triples) in the span of less than an hour. I wouldn't recommend making a daily habit out of drinking them.

Some of these bridge competitions are insane, there's one with a paper bridge that held over 1000 pounds.

100bpm's not that high? alot of people have heart rates around that without drinking any stimulants. or you can hit it just walking down the street. lol. its only about 20-25 bpm above a very average heart rate. and given that your maximum heart rate is up around 200 BPM, (that can be hit with exercise) or 400 BPM if you were having a full heart attack.. you were fine. :)

Over 100 while resting for the past hour is not typical, 400 would not be possible even during a heart attack, the heart speeds up to around exercise levels because it is trying to compensate for lack of bloodflow. Heart rates usually go over 100 with moderate+ exercise (or heart attacks).

Play a song with 110-120BPM and compare it with your own while resting, then jog down the block and compare again.
