@BallerandRunner Laser is the best device for tightening pores. I have never heard of LED treatments. Retinoids may help a small bit, because they promote new skin growth. Co2 laser works best....

I'm stay red for about 5 days and then slghtly healthy pink for about 7-8 days, but the pinkness to me looks really healthy. You should not stay too red for over a 2-3 weeks, but it will go away.

@danzresan I normally get a good 30-50% improvement each time. You will see full results in about 2 months post laser,but you will see immediate results..Normally, post 2 weeks, you will see the results,,then subtle improvements in a few months, due to new skin cell growth, which takes time. You need about 2-3 laser treatments to see big results..

@PRATMAYBACH90 you need to treat the acne breakout first...try using Retin A cream or obagi tretinion cream to clear up the acne first, then have laser...It is not a good idea to have skin resurfacing when your skin has active acnea breakouts...

I don't know much about photo Rejuvenation. I have read little on this treatment. It is not as invasive as a chemical peel or Fractional laser. I feel that fractional laser resurfacing will have much improved effects for me in my 40s. I think photo rejuvenation is good for blotchy skin and freckles..Yet, fractional improves this as well.

This treatment is Fractional Erbium laser skin resurfacing, which works just like fraxel, so it rapidly heals the skin. I'm not sure about all machines, but it is a laser machine and all lasers zap, rather short zaps or long zaps. Yes, the laser beam is making a zapping noise. The laser was erbium and this session cost only $600.00 with Kathlyeen. Every place charges differently. She is trained Estheticain with the laser, so it is much cheaper than a DR charges, if the DR performs this procedure. A Dr may charge 1,500 or so.

If you plan on doing Fractional laser treatments, you should at least prepare for 3 treatments, spaced out, very 6 weeks, if it is Fractional laser. You should heal within 24 hrs and can go out in public 2 days after the laser treatment. I was in public 48 hrs later and looked like I has a mild sunburn, pretty normal looking. Yes, it depends on the scars, but you will have better results in 3 treatments.

This treatment really does seem to get rid of the acne scars and blemishes. There is some redness and swelling, but it seems to fade quickly.

Does that machine actually lay down bandages as the treatment is moving over the skin? It looked like some type of guaze dandage was visable after each pass. Kind of neat device!

It helps soften acne scars and smoot out complexion. I did have some mild swelling. The white mesh, which you are seeing, on the skin, is actually the top layer of the skin, becoming burned, by the laser. This laser resurfaces in little small dots, this is what you are thinking is guaze forming on the skin, but it is fractions of lasered skin, turning white.
