  • @2Old4Toys The card is similar to Ganbaride (?) Cards for Kamen Rider Arcade games... Um, they're more like trading cards, I suppose. Each arcade box has a card reader for those cards, swipe them, and the character in the card will be activated thru the game. Same manner for power ups and weapons.

    Basically, it's like Mushiking.

  • advanced grades look interesting

  • he so cute XD

  • Good review, I can only afford this one. All that matters for me is the looks rather than its articulation.

  • @MrPapazap The HG models are also for beginners, right?

  • @MysticArksRevenge well it depends on how you define a beginner. Let's say that HGs are for experienced ones.

  • @MrPapazap Yes, but they have more posability than Advanced Grades/No Grade.

  • @MysticArksRevenge Yup they are. If you prefer HG then go ahead, I know it's a piece of cake for you to assemble it ^_^ I actually own 3 of them...

  • @MrPapazap Ah, good! Then I shall get a HG model, since they are cheaper than getting the figures.

  • The card is used for an official Gundam Age Arcade game for your information.

  • @bond1234ization I have the card, and access to the game cabinet. How do I use them together?

  • @2Old4Toys The card can only be used in The Gundam Tri-edge Arcade game & if you see The Gundam GAGE-ING Link system Arcade game, you can only use those Advance Grade models/toys (they only allow Gundam Age Advance Grade models/toys). Let me know if you wanna know anything about it.

  • So this is the first of your videos I've ever watched.... I think its great! I love that you built the model with your son! I hope its a hobby you guys can share for a long time. My dad wanted to share his hobbies with me and I never got into it. I guess its really nice to see you guys having fun together. Best wishes.

  • GUNDAM AGE, GIVING BACK TO THE CHILDREN! Great video xD

  • In singapore they have the machines although they have only been out for a month and probably no one but me knows how to play propely

  • @868edgar Tell me how to play!

  • @868edgar malaysia still doesn't have :( can you tell me where are the machines located? i wanna go and play when i come singapore

  • @dhathor it is advanced because you need to be able to paint it

  • So much for "Advanced" Grade...

  • The card is for the arcade machine

  • YOU.... YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU~!~!~!!!!

  • where does the black from the eyes come from?

  • Hello 2Old4Toys, The GAGE-ING System is for the Gunda Age Arcade Game, you need to have that microchip to access the game, I'm not sure if it acts like your memory card or just an ID,. That's all I can say,. :) Nice review by the way,. and to Junior as well,. :D

  • A perfect review! Thank you 2old4toys!!!!

  • ta ta ta tata tatatata ta ta ............

  • lots of children like gunpla model kit like me!!!

  • maybe a good name could be 2 young 4 toys

  • Ted is a nice name :)

  • Hi 2old4toys,if you wanted to see the machine, you can try to watch this video watch?v=U1isJLnQta4

  • Where do you buy gundam kits ?

  • Where do you buy your gundam kits?

  • gun-damners XD

  • hey 2old 4 toys i know how to use that machine just put that on the arcade machine

  • that kit is so cute... :)

  • I would love to do this someday with my kids.

  • I guess gunpla is a good way to teach kids more words. I wouldn't trust bandai with some of their engrish though.

  • Is that a beyblade tool? XD

  • I want an arcade with those machines.

  • u sound like simon cowell

  • can u do a review for geonace as well

  • @2old4toys y cant i watch 1st episode of age when i go on the link it says the uploder has not made the video available in your country wats dat about

  • was it me or was his logo at the top says '2 ODD 4 toys' ?

  • argh u kids with your spoilers and your gagein links. I remember when a mg had the same artuculation as the new hg's

  • putting articulation on this one is not hard

  • very reasonable price

plus the head is really2x detailed

  • it's got less articulation than the o-raiser

  • The thing is for the game in JP

  • I can't help but laugh at Jr. "It's rubbish!" and singing the Imperial March... :D

  • holy crap, your hands are made of steel or are the runners just weak? :X.

  • your son name is Ted? wonderful name...at 6:58

  • i'll buy it all

  • ;olloololool

  • cool

  • This is the best review I ever seen.

funny, laught, complain, and number one I like is "Junior"

maybe his name is " 2 young 4 toys" (>_<)"

  • If you turn the shield upside down, look at that,is A for captain America

  • Would a HGUC 1/144 kit be hard for my first gunpla?

  • @0xXSilentSandsXx0 Definetly not, in fact that is a great place to start in your GunPla career...

  • @makeshift465 Thanks for the information

  • The AG version was of course, designed for younger kids, hence the stubbier fins and antenna on the head. It's mainly made for Japanese kids with access to the GAGE-ing arcade machine. And the despite it being almost a statue, at least it won't fall apart easily when played with.

Surprising color separation & detail for a First-Grade rate kit, though, and perfect for new, younger modelers.

  • "FOOOCUSSS!!!"

    Ah, that made my day.

  • Children own, your kid owns.

  • The best review! !

  • You already have your kid singing the Imperial March. You sir are a great father.

  • " it's rubbish!" lol

  • this one looks nice for what it is but make no mistake its the HG for me XD

  • seeing as how your supposed to take this with your to the arcade i can say the lack of movement dosnt bother me. really i think its nice for what it is.

  • does Jr have a reviewer name yet? if he doesn't, may I suggest 2youngfortoys? or is that what he is really called now? haha.

  • You are a silly billy and its about time you admitted it!

  • 5:40 Is that a red takara tomy beyblade assembly tool?

  • awww u have a son? thats cute haha

i wish my dad was like u :(

  • i just dont think i can get into the arcade game because i would have to travel an hour just to play it T_T wish the model looked better though

  • 4:55 my fave part of this video. Jr's malcontent "I can't open it!!!"

  • lol Dont nod your head they cant see you! lol your son is so kewl

  • I think I'm going to hold off on any of the AGE-1 purchases until I can see reviews of all 3 forms (in HG version of course).

  • nice brick

  • Junior is awesome

  • This was probably one of the most entertaining and precious videos you've uploaded to date, sir. =]

For a basic grade kit, lots of colors and parts separation is really great. Lack of articulation though, but do the kids really care about articulation? I think the target market for this grade will be happy with the results!!

Was Jr. trying to sing the Imperial March @6:52

  • I assume that the AG models are solely targeted towards younger children. Articulation isn't their biggest concern.

  • for a First Grade ish it has a lot of parts

  • your son voice is really cute.. hahah

  • Besides the articulation, this AG is exactly good.

  • That head of the Age gundam is genious. No painting is needed.

  • @2Old4Toys Lovely review matey! Instead of Junior you could call him 2Young4Toys!

  • This is really nice kit, the future looks good for the lower end of the market. Did love jr. and your self building together a lovely moment.

  • Comment removed

  • "and here's the main character"...God i hate him already...:(

  • lol I see a bay blade tool at 05:17-15:10

Do you like making gundams? yes lol cute 09:22

    I choose the HG better,

  • wow, this model looks pretty good in terms of colour seperation, but not very impressed with the amount of articulation, but then again with the different coloured parts, adding articulation will be making this making this set more of a high grade than a Advanced Grade.

  • I like this better than the Entry Grades. Color separation is remarkable.

  • i bet junior has a metal fight beyblade i can see a piece of it at 5:55

  • 600yen for a Gundam Age's statue? that is for me worth it

  • are you guys German cause you accent is awsome

  • first grade design+hg colour plating

  • there's a "gage-ing haro"

  • to use a suit in arcade that is and nice father and son hobby

  • Comment removed

  • you can use this model kit in arcade centre that has the guage reader

  • 14:29 i saw a beyblade tool i think its 4 junior

  • Jr is so awesome

  • gundamers ??? xD lol

  • Wich model shop do you go to btw?

  • I like this kit quite a lot, for the equivalent of 6 euro's, that is absolutely not shabby. If only Bandai would invest in sprue painting like Kotobukiya this AG line would be insanely good.

  • Seems like Bandai has went back with these to 1/144 NGs from Seed and Seed Destiny lines when it comes to articulation. Then again it has been 10 years when Seed started.

  • so where do i watch the first ep? im confused here

  • After watching this video,I want to find my father and build gunpla with me ^^

  • I can see a beyblade tool!!

  • That sticker free head is amazing.

  • only Bandai knows how to be innovative yet take steps back in some area, (articulation in this model) lol

  • @frow55 Where you been?

  • @2Old4Toys i see a beyblade metal fight tool.... do you have beyblades?

  • @2Old4Toys I am away studying at my University so I never have time or money for my gunpla addiction :(

  • 40 minutes to air... can I stay awake until then?

    Good thing it's a Sunday.

  • Oh crap, I totally missed the A on the shield! That's clever. xD

  • This is so cute!

  • How old is your kid? He's a bright kid. I chuckled when he said "rubbish" =))

  • "don't say your name" two minutes later says name three times Ahaha:) keep up the great videos!

  • lol, gun'damn'ers xD

  • ¥600 is a steal! Oh and I adore ur son! I hope when I have children he will be the same. Ohh the joy!! :')

  • great parental control!

  • I like what they did with the eyes, and actually the model does not look that bad... however I wouldn't buy it

  • DAD!

  • is Junior's name Ted??

  • gunDAMERS?

  • at 6:53 is Junior humming the Imperial March? :D

  • I'm still waiting for subbers to make a release, so I haven't seen gundam AGE yet :( but I did order the HG gundam AGE a little while ago though :D

  • I getting my first two models in a few days and in the first 5 minutes I could already tell this model was a nicely made piece shit. Its also great to see you involving your child in these builds, it warms my heart a little.

  • @2Old4Toys Always cool to see you go on video with your son. =D By the way, what nationality and ethnicity are you? I've always been curious and could never figure it out...heheh.

  • @suiton629 I'd like to think British or Australian

  • Admiral Ackbar: "IT'S A BRICK!!!"

  • wow less articulation than a LEGO minifig?

  • Cute~

  • Actually, those dials on the runner are date codes that say when the runner was molded. You also use it to track quality issues back to a specific source.

  • It makes sense to have this AG for the arcade bring-along. Cos if the fella loses, and throws the kit onto the floor, at least it'll fall to as little pieces as possible! (and able to snap back together wif as little damage - yes looking at u @rrobbert184) Haha.

  • 2O4T: "no you can't say that you can't tell people your real name, you're junior" J: "why i'm a junior"

    2O4T: "that's what i call you, ok?"

    i LOLed SO HARD!!

  • C'mon, let you kid snap fit the kit too :D

  • Guess I will just buy the HG. Saving money is cool, but I want to be able to do poses too.

  • Why can't Bandai stick to one name for their entry-level kits? We have First Grade, then Entry Grade for the Asian market, and now Advanced Grade? This is ridiculous.

    Nevertheless, awesome build video, dude.

  • and if you flip the shield you get a TURN A

  • Knowing how crazy Japanese pro modelers are, they'll probably end up adding additional articulation to this guy.

Besides the very little amount of articulations, this kit looks pretty damn good as is, even without stickers! And very little amount of hollow parts unlike previous kits of its type.

  • bandai's new agenda: throw away articulations for looks

  • @gundamnduke0 You don't have the HG do you....

  • @narutoman876 i said it in terms of the AG line

  • @gundamnduke0 It's not for looks... it's for the arcade game gimmick

  • "They want all your money..." lol

  • It kinda sucks that the internal frames prevent crucial joints for a mobile suit like a waist joint and elbow joints.

  • now this video makes me feel having a jr already....

  • U should call jr 2young4toys

  • "it's rubbish" just made me laugh. Great video as always!

  • 2o4t, this is too cute :) nice review too

  • baisically gunpla builders in real life

  • i'm really surprised how good the color seperation is.

  • Did your kid just hummed the Empire March from Star Wars at 6:52???

  • @AdventPrime Yes, the Force is strong in him.

  • 11:40 Candy is indeed a good idea.....

  • so ur son have beyblade? 05:55 see the red tool?XD

  • I really like the color separation.

  • why I'm a junior.....because that what I call you.......awesome XD

  • Sorry its just out of curiosity buy is your son Eurasian o.o?

  • you're my role model i want to be a dad like you.

  • Father and son build a gundam together! Junior's a cute kid xD

  • its a chip for an arcade game where you place the gundam in the scanner and the gundam kit itself becomes the character you play as

  • @2Old4Toys Awwww, that's so adorable. You should get your son a hg 1/144 gundam and build it with him, and let "Jr." give a review 2. And every few videos, u should review/build with your son :D

  • i want to build gundams with my kids some day too :D

  • drain the juice? 0_0

  • @randomclam898889 drink! what's up with your audio-auto-correction? xD

  • @2Old4Toys Ha! I think you mean what's wrong with my ears. I rewatched and heard "drink". Oh well. On another note, are you planning on doing any other kits soon? If so, which ones, or has that not been established?

  • Awww... this is so cute!

  • 00 fg is far better

  • @PyrusMaster001 Unpainted, I think this AG AGE-1 looks far better than the unpainted FG Exia. How much is a FG Exia?

  • @2Old4Toys I believe FG Exia is 500 yen. I may be wrong though.

  • @2Old4Toys Unpainteed yeah ag looks better but exia for 600 yen is better in my opinion

  • One day... One day... I'll be doing something similar with my kid. Honestly I can hardly wait ^_^
