i saw that fight...it was on nbc sports in late 79 or early 80, i believe. weaver toyed with ledoux and actually had ledoux down in the early rounds with a jab!! as u can see at the end, he probably couldve taken ledoux out if he had tried..
Ledoux was a good fighter, a tough strong guy, but he had a bad habit of carrying his hands, especially his left, too low.

Weaver was one of those fighters who was as good as he wanted to be. When motivated he was very dangerous.
