  • this is 1st time u ever fly a belt-cp? i mean, either ur lieing, either u did like 6 months of intense expensive simulator, either ur fucking smart :) , tend to think its the last one, but u never now ;)

  • HI!

Yes it realy is the first time hover a rc helicopter.

but i was kind of a nerd chasing a little boy's dream to fly "radio controled helicopter"

so i first went on youtube to see many different videos about setup the heli,

then i joined a swedish rc heli forum, and read houers about everything about rc heli's.

  • then i bought the belt CP and had major blade tracking roblems witch took me 3 battery charges to get it right.. i never took it up in the air.... mean while i was training 2 houers or so in the FMS simulator with ESKY dummy....

After i have seen all the first flight videos on youtube i decided to make one my own!! and here it is.

  • actually i was thinking "well if i can se the crash i will make now in slowmotion maybe i can lern from that"

    but i didin't crash...

and a good bade tracking is all i needed to get the heli flying as steady it can get in that stock plastic setup...

now i fly a Trex 450 se v2 (CopterX parts)

  • and MAN IS IT STABLE!!!!!!!! OMFG my belt is in it's box again, there is absolutly no reason to keep flying that shit again... may be just to crash it for fun or something. but that bird is one hell of a nervous heli... never more a ESKY heli for me... ;)

  • So that was half throttle??? How do you have it set up? Was hover pitch at zero too? Mine doesn't even come close. It's totally out of control always. How much input were you giving into the cyclic??? Man you are awesome!

  • yes that was half throttle.

    i think i hade +1 or 2 in pitch @ hover.

this was a long time ago, i don't remember....

    i wish you good luck,

  • Does not look like beginner to me...

  • Pretty brave to attempt a first hover in the house...well done.

I'm thinking of a Belt CP for my next heli.

How easy are parts to find? I heard many are interchangeable with Align Trex parts....

  • the parts are easy to find in the states, here in Costa Rica we have problems, they only sell and have parts for the e-flite blade cp pro and blade cx, and the prices are triple than the ones at the states, and, yes, it's compatible with Trex 450 parts.

  • I know exactly what you mean. After my last cras with my Belt CP I will be spending some serious time ensuring the setup of the heli is spot on.

  • Absolutely excellent for a first hover! Good effort - my first serious hover ended badly...

  • thank you :) TUNED IN FROM FACTORY MY ASS!!!!!!!

it took me some time to get it stable!!!!

  • thx

  • Very nice hovering there in my opinion, though I have never flown belt-cp so I have no clue what it is like.
