what's interesting is that it seems as there there was a plot element there that the car company must've objected to. they meet at a bend in the road, and they talk in front of a tree with some pretty obvious scars on it. i think there must've been a plot element of her dying in a car accident, but that COULDN'T have been a good selling point for the car, but some of the camera shots seem to allude to something like that!
