so from the optimistic standpoint, the book held a gun that killed off her tormentors, whether it was shot by her or a person she knows, which led to a better life for her and it was often held in that book.

or she's a serial killer in her childhood days to satisfy her bloodlust. who knows...

@DarkFireBlade25 I think it went something along the lines of; A girl after travelling back to her hometown or childhood place of memories longing for a book which she vaguely and fondly remembers only to find it destroyed and used as a tool for an assassination plot. If it weren't done so artistically it could've been something that came out of hollywoodland.
