@TheseCitiesOurGraves Its a video artifact - the string vibrates at a fast rate, but the camera only capture whatever frames per second it can, seeming to slow it down kinda like a strobe light, making it seem to vibrate wildly.

its because of the angle of the camera capturing light reflected only at specific angles, its a slight optical illusion

it is an old injury from the eighties form playing the guitar to much . Helps protect it . But i have noticed it helps the hand move up and down with more ease @jacobrentzntz

It lacks the cool fills in the chorus, mostly because he's making it harder than it has to be. The chorus should be played entirely in the 5th position. The rest of it is basically flawless, except a small part in the development section in the first part following the "verse" section. Aside from that, the best version on here besides my own and Mason's.

I'll agree with everyone elses' comments that this is a fantastic rendition of the original - the only criticism I would have - not that I'm in any position to criticize - is that I would have liked to have seen a slightly more "mellow" and "emotional" performance - I don't really like the way that the notes are attacked rather than allowing them to flow - sorry if I sound picky ... awesome performance though 5* for sure ...

Timing is off around .50 and the chorus is a little goofy, it should be barred on the V position. I used to play it on the V positon and drop it to an open D like him, but stopped after Mason showed me that he barres it. Other than that, it is outstanding!  I love that he kept it very close to the original, unlike some players who totally change it into unrecognizability. This version is tried and true.
