i think having a lack of these nice guns and rather having some melee and a pistol,magnum weapon would of added much better to the scary factor of the game since u have a lack of resources and more mutant looking hordes x-x with creepy noises and such with these guns i just felt waaaay to awesome to feel scared xD

if you keep the sniper when you get to the room with the mirror (where you can kinda see yourself) if you turn the brightness up and scope in on yourself by the door way you can see your face in the mirror really clearly

The scariest missions were in the Elementary school and the nurse's office :D and at the begging with the zombies

stunning its always played frequently during the summer with my mum and dad they are really awesome at it. I was lucky and found it totally free for my ps3 here - 115 games {.} com they have literally hundreds I couldnt beleive that they are all free too I have to say 1:32 - 2:52 was first class

My take--FEAR 1 was not that scary, but was very good as a shooter. The firefights were really well done. I am looking forward to playing this--the demo was great.

Fear was meant to get under your skin-meaning the quite areas should make you fill in the space with your own personal horror.

FEAR 1 Sucked I reckon, there was too big a space between the scares. Monolith have made a massive improvement with this game, scary as balls.

I don't think it was that it sucked. The issue was that it attracted folks that had played a whole lot of scarier games--I didn't jump once in FEAR 1, but I think I'm desensitized from playing oodles or Resident Evil and Silent Hill, etc. The storyline was fantastic though, and Paxton Fettel was one of the scariest mofos in gaming history. This game laid on the scares a lot thicker though--most of the scares reminded me of Extraction Point.
