@MrNintendoLicious the black macbook was from 2006-2008 and was replaced by the aluminum macbook. the white macbook was just recently taken off the product line now theres only macbook pro and macbook air. i had the black macbook from feb 2007 and my wife bought me the late 2011 macbook pro, she adopted my black macbook for herself which i have to say it still runs as great as the day i first got it.

@Roxen1462 iBook, easy. If you have enough to buy a Macbook instead get a Powerbook, why? Because its Aloo-min-eee-um lol, Plus it has much better insides lol.

Also this is very unfair:

DDR2 RAM ≠ DDR RAM

SSD ≠ Old IDE

If you fixed these it be fair.

@TheConferenceNorth On an ibook g4 you can. On ibook g4 it goes up to 10.5.8 which is the version I am using. Not only that but it can use the magic mouse too if it has proper bluetooth. But ibook g3's aren't bad either they can run 10.4 tiger which is still good.

weird i have a imac g3 400mhz 256mb ram osx 10.3.9 and it loads sooo much faster then that ibook? does 10.4 slow it down that much?

It just doesn't look right on a 2001 G3 iBook. I remember getting a new MacBook (to replace the iBook I got for my 16th birthday) in 2006 and that was the only computer I thought tiger looked alright on.
