I drove these trucks for over three years in the Army.

They were my least favorite truck to drive

The steering was manual and it steered like it.

A heater was an optional kit of parts in these trucks.

But I will say, It was a tough truck. No matter how much we piled in it and towed a huge trailer it would still go!

I spent many a cold night in Germany in these trucks.

But it was better than sleeping on the ground!

@longbed72 you can get them for supprisingly cheap, a friend of mine bought one in great running driving shape for $3500, i just looked them up on the local craigslist and found one for 2500 and one for 4000. So they're not to expensive

The "bang for your buck" factor is definitely quite large. I would dare say it's the closest thing to the fabled "$50 Jeep still in the crate" that we'll probably ever see in our lifetime.
