Wow... I can feel the tension in the comments.. I LOVE Tennant as the Doctor. He's brilliant.. But I really like Matt Smith aswell. I think he's doing a great job. In my opinion he's not better than Tennant, but he's growing on me every episode. But yeah, Tennant will always be The Doctor for me, but the show must go on, and I think Matt is doing a swell job on making it do so. We all just have to accept the changes, it always happens, sooner or later. DW pwns no matter what!!

it was due to the fact that the bbc let the fans down for the series 5 in 2009, that's why he left.

I just don't think (In my opinion)a woman wouldn't be right as the Doctor. It's just wierd and I'm not so much a great fan of the whole "Doctor goddy" thing. I think it would be more like the Doctor had a sex change rather than a regeneration its just wrong, interesting idea to exploit with comic strips and audios for a test to see what it would be like but not to be taken any futher otherwise that would be really, really gay.

Won't be a woman! Even though it's technically possible, it won't happen. Personally I don't want the Doctor to be a woman, but it's true, Tennant has inhabited the role so well, we need a Doctor with a whole different aura to bring bring the show to a different direction in which we can grow and love it as much as we do now...

Let's not forget the transition from the third Doctor to the fourth, to name one huge difference...
