I have a friend with a 2wd pick up, and this year he parked on a down sloped parking lot next to a curb and one of his rear tire was on a half of inch of snow there was on dry ground, well anyways i had pull him out cuz the tire on the snow was spinning and the one on dry ground wasnt. If he would of had the locker he would of been fine. It just help a little. but on sand your SOL in a rear wheel 2wd.
@alexrex20 Not a rear locker, and I know that for 100 percent. I had a Z71 package on my 03 Chev and it had lim slip. So im almost pos that they come with locker, posi or lim slip. Now you can get a locker from the factory but it costs an arm and a leg. Cheaper just to put one in yourself

LS allows one to turn a small amount before locking them both together into posi style. It makes for smooth turns. With a true posi you have one wheel hopping in turns due to the different speeds they need to travel during the turn. Similar but different. Look it up!
