How to set music as a ringtone on a LG Chocolate Touch

You have to go Media Center > Music and Tones > My Rintones> then select the song > Set as > Ringtone and you are done!

well.. that was VERY VERY easy.. but thank you so much for the video.. it make it a lot faster than having to figure it out by myself.. So easy.. but you made it easier.. tanks again.. BTW ALL. .if you have a card adapter for the mini-SD , you can just plug it into the USB ports card reader on your computer.. if you have one. and do the same thing.. HOWEVER- you must have already put the mini-SD card in your phone at least once so that it creates all the correct folders on the card. Thx again

ok...i have tried this exactly the way you showed me, i have a memory card, and i transfer files all the time to and from my computer (music and pictures mostly). my files are MP3 format, i have alltel, and it still tells me no-drm file when i try to set the files as my ringtone!!!! please, does anyone know why?

@edwinicq actually there is: you can edit the song on your PC and e-mail the song from your PC to your phone, bot the good thing about that is, is that the e-mail will show up as a text on your phone so no data plan needed

Yet another failed attempt for now. Maybe DID work but now they're all moving to DRM files.

The files can be moved but when you try to set as ringtone you'll get "No DRM"

@dingo286 You need to insert a Micro SD Card into your phone. Take the back cover off your phone and put the card into the slot. Then it should work.
